译文
衡山在夜色的天空下愈发苍翠，从山上俯视着南方升起的老人星。
剧烈旋转的风吹散了南岳五峰上的雪，轻絮的花儿飘落到了洞庭湖。
在这样的清爽气氛下，山岳更显得秀气俊美，陈郎将一家都披上铠甲。
他门下的食客就像浮云那样多，世上的人都把他比作昔时的孟尝君。
江上为你送行时连一丝波浪都没有，在分别的时候似乎连惆怅都分开了。
注释
⑴按《唐书·百官志》，左右十四卫及太子左右六率府，皆有郎将，乃五品官也。衡阳，唐时郡名，即衡州，隶江南西道。
⑵《京氏易传》：《易》曰：“旅人先笑后号啕。”又曰：“得其资斧。”仲尼为旅人，国可知矣。《周易》：“明入地中，明夷。内文明而外柔顺，以蒙大难，文王以之。”《周易集解》：“郑玄曰：夷，伤也。日出地上，其明乃光，至其入地，明则伤矣，故谓之明夷。日之明伤，犹圣人、君子有明德，而遭乱世，抑在下位。则宜自艰，无干政事，以避小人之害也。荀爽曰：明在地下，为坤所蔽，大难之象。文王君臣相事，故当大难也。”王弼《易注》：“文王明夷，则主可知矣。仲尼旅人，则国可知矣。”
⑶《高唐赋》：“登高望远，使人心悴。”
⑷《晋书》：左思赋《三都》。初陆机入洛，欲为此赋。闻思作之，抚掌而笑，与弟云书曰：“此间有伧父，欲作《三都赋》，须其成，当以覆酒瓮耳。”及思赋出，机绝叹伏，以为不能加也。遂辍笔焉。王羲之《与谢万书》：语田里所行，故以为抚掌之资，其为得意，可胜言耶？
⑸《方舆胜览》：南岳，一名衡山，在衡山县西三十里，晋因山以名郡。《湘中记》：度应斗衡，位值离宫，故曰衡山。又名霍山。《南岳记》：衡山者，朱陵之灵台，太虚之宝洞。上承翌轸，铃总万物，故名衡山。下踞离宫，统摄火乡，故号南岳。赤帝馆其岭，祝融宅其阳。逮于轩辕。以潜、霍二山副焉。《长沙记》：衡山轩翔，耸拔九千余丈，尊卑参差七十二峰，岩洞、溪涧、泉石之胜，交错其中。又有数十洞、十五岩、三十八泉、二十五溪、九池、九潭、六源、八桥、六井、三穿、三漏。此最著者。七十二峰最大者五：祝融、紫盖、云密、石禀、天柱，而祝融为最高。《水经注》：湘水又北径衡山具东。山在西南。有三峰：一名紫盖，一名石禀，一名容峰。容峰最为竦杰，自远望之，苍苍隐天。故罗含云：望若陈云，自非清雾素朝，不见其峰。丹水涌其左。醴泉流其右，山经谓之峋嵝山，为南岳也。《魏书》：发响九皋，翰飞紫冥。
⑹《史记·天官书》：“狼比地有大星，曰南极老人，老人见，治安。常以秋分时候之于南郊。”《晋书》：“老人一星在弧南，一曰南极，常以秋分之旦，见于景；春分之夕，而没于丁。见则治平，主寿昌。”
⑺谢灵运诗：“回飙流轻雪。”
⑻陆机《谢平原内史表》：“怀金拖紫，退就散辈。”《后汉书》：“圣恩横加，狠赐金紫。”章怀太子注：“《汉官仪》曰：二千石，金印紫经也。”金紫：是唐代的官服和佩饰。即金鱼袋和紫衣。
⑼《史记》：孟尝君在薛，招致诸侯宾客及亡人有罪者，皆归盂尝君。孟尝君舍业厚遇之，以故倾天下之士。食客数千人，无贵贱一与文等。
⑽《吕氏春秋》：郈成子为鲁聘于晋。过卫，右宰谷臣止而觞之，酒酣而送之以璧。

李白（701年－762年），字太白，号青莲居士，唐朝浪漫主义诗人，被后人誉为“诗仙”。祖籍陇西成纪(待考)，出生于西域碎叶城，4岁再随父迁至剑南道绵州。李白存世诗文千余篇，有《李太白集》传世。762年病逝，享年61岁。其墓在今安徽当涂，四川江油、湖北安陆有纪念馆。
