石楠深叶里，薄暮两三声。
一催衰鬓色，再动故园情。
西风殊未起，秋思先秋生。
忆昔在东掖，宫槐花下听。

译文
农历六月初七的时候，江边树上的蝉开始鸣叫了。
蝉躲在石楠树茂密的树叶里，在傍晚的时候叫上两三声。
蝉这一叫让我忽觉自己鬓角已白，也回不去以前的家了。
秋风还没开始吹，悲伤的情绪就已从心底泛起。
回想以前还在东宫任职时，总是在槐花树下听蝉鸣。
现在无限的愁绪，就像白云覆盖城市，让人透不过气来。
注释
石楠：蔷薇目、蔷薇科、石楠属木本植物，常绿乔木类。
鬓：脸旁靠近耳朵的头发，耳际之发。
东掖：宫中东侧的旁门。代指太子所居的东宫。
湓城：瑞昌市西清湓山。清湓山有井，形如盆，因号湓水，城曰湓城 。

白居易（772年－846年），字乐天，号香山居士，又号醉吟先生，祖籍太原，到其曾祖父时迁居下邽，生于河南新郑。是唐代伟大的现实主义诗人，唐代三大诗人之一。白居易与元稹共同倡导新乐府运动，世称“元白”，与刘禹锡并称“刘白”。白居易的诗歌题材广泛，形式多样，语言平易通俗，有“诗魔”和“诗王”之称。官至翰林学士、左赞善大夫。公元846年，白居易在洛阳逝世，葬于香山。有《白氏长庆集》传世，代表诗作有《长恨歌》、《卖炭翁》、《琵琶行》等。
