译文
张公多有飘逸之兴致，我们一起共泛舟于沔城边。
时值秋季夜空阴月朗照，比之武昌也毫不逊色。
座中诸君陶醉于清亮的光辉中，一意为欢为自古以来所无。
郎官喜爱这里的湖水，因此命名己郎官湖。
诸君风流倜傥一如当年，英名将与大别山同存。
注释
沔州：州治在今湖北武汉市汉阳。郎官湖：原名南湖，在今汉阳城内东南隅，明正德以后渐涸。
夜郎：今贵州省桐梓县一带。
张谓：字正言，河南人，唐代诗人，时任尚书郎。夏口：即鄂州，今湖北汉口。
牧：州刺史。宰：县令。杜公、王公名皆未详。
练：白色的熟绢。
酹：以酒泼地。
郑圃：指管城县之李氏坡。管城唐时属郑州，故称。
大别山：《元和郡县志》江南道沔州汉阳县：”鲁山，一名大别山，在县东百步。其山前枕蜀江，北带汉水。“在今湖北武汉市汉阳东北汉江西岸。
张公：指李白友人张谓。
武昌都：三国吴帝孙权改鄂县（即今湖北省鄂城县）置武昌，迁都于此。故言武昌都。
此山：即大别山。诗人泛舟南湖可望见大别山。

泛沔州城南郎官湖创作背景
根据诗前小序可知，《泛沔州城南郎官湖》诗作于唐肃宗乾元元年（758年）秋，当时李白流放夜郎。乾元元年，在今湖北武汉停留时遇到了老朋友张谓。当时张谓以天子使臣的身份出临夏口，地方长官沔州刺史杜公、汉阳县令王公，作东道主，一同欢宴沔州城南湖中。此诗就作于此时。

泛沔州城南郎官湖鉴赏
小序一百五十七字，诗五韵，共两百零七字。诗序互相补充，叙述简畅秀洁。开始，介绍时间、地点、人物，中间，叙述为郎官湖命名的经过；最后以赞作结。
此诗首二句“张公多逸兴，共泛沔城隅”。说他有逸兴，是作者对朋友高度的肯定和赞美。这两句交代与朋友们游湖之事。先表现湖光山色不亚于武昌，再说明良辰美景，兴致颇好。说明为湖命名因由。据说沔州南湖自李白更名郎官湖后，声名大噪，直至明代前期，“官湖月夜”为著名的“汉阳十景”之一。“风流若未减，名与此山俱”是这首诗中比较令人心动的句子，表达了作者对湖名垂史的愿望。写湖也是写人，显示了诗人自信和豁达。
南湖是无名的小湖，地方不过一城之隅，没有雕砌的楼台，但有天生的水月。而此时此刻，凉秋午后，月光如练，水天一色。天月水月，与人相随，光彻明媚，可入怀抱。故人重逢，酒不醉人人自醉，不知今夕何夕。诗人不禁觉得这里的月色极其美妙，兴味无穷：”四座醉清光，为欢古来无“。虽在流放途中，兴致亦未稍减。
可是，南湖年年秋月，多少贤豪身历佳景，只因湖小而无名，无所称道。而第一个爱上南湖的，是尚书郎张谓，此便超越了古人。此湖，就应叫”郎官湖“。无名即有名，而首先引为知言的，是文士辅翼、岑静，两个无名无位的小人物，正说明论是确论，笔是妙笔。

李白（701年－762年），字太白，号青莲居士，唐朝浪漫主义诗人，被后人誉为“诗仙”。祖籍陇西成纪(待考)，出生于西域碎叶城，4岁再随父迁至剑南道绵州。李白存世诗文千余篇，有《李太白集》传世。762年病逝，享年61岁。其墓在今安徽当涂，四川江油、湖北安陆有纪念馆。
