念过眼、光阴难再得。想前欢、尽成陈迹。登临恨无语，把阑干暗拍。
忆少年·年时酒伴鉴赏
此为怀人词，是作者清明节之前登临旧游之地时所作。全词采用白描手法，以真挚深切的情感和浅近平实的语言，于字里行间传达出无限深情。
上片起首三句追忆往日的一次游宴。“年时”即当年。具体时间从下文得知，也是清明节日。三句同用“年时”二字开头，雄浑刚劲，新颖别致。以后两句却笔头一转，写眼前之景：此时快到清明时节，又是春光明媚的时候，地点也是从前登临的地方，旧地重游，景色如昔，可是往日的酒伴此时却远地作客，不能同一起游宴了。抚今追昔，于是引起了对同游者的怀思。
过片则是通过这件事生发出来的感慨。作者首先慨叹岁月如过眼云烟，大好时光，转眼就过去了。“想前欢、尽成陈迹”紧承上句而来：任何人都曾有过欢乐赏心的事，但事过境迁，良辰不再，往日的欢快事，回头来看就已是陈旧的痕迹。语本晋代大书法家王羲之《兰亭集序》之：“向之所欣，俯仰之间，已为陈迹，犹不能不以之兴怀。”几句“登临恨无语”中的“登临”处所本是旧游之地，即上片第二句所说的“年时去处”：“无语”是由于“年时酒伴”已“天涯为客”，已没有互吐衷肠的人。一个“恨”字，不仅是说恨找不到投契的朋友交谈，同时也恨“过眼光阴难再得”。结句“把阑干暗拍”，是“恨”的表现形式，当作者凭倚阑杆，万千思绪涌上心头，满腔幽恨无可发泄之际，只能暗拍阑干聊自排遣。此词以动作描写作法，活画出一个心情苦闷的文人形象。

曹组，北宋词人。生卒年不详。字元宠。颍昌（今河南许昌）人。一说阳翟（今河南禹县）人。曾官睿思殿应制，因占对才敏，深得宋徽宗宠幸，奉诏作《艮岳百咏》诗。约于徽宗末年去世。存词36首。曹组的词以"侧艳"和"滑稽下俚"著称，在北宋末曾传唱一时，浅薄无聊者纷纷仿效。但在南宋初却受到有识者的批评，甚至鄙弃。一些词描写其羁旅生活，感受真切，境界颇为深远，无论手法、情韵，都与柳永词有继承关系。
