译文
离恨啊常常萦绕在分手的杨柳前，梦魂啊总是忘不了美人庭院中那雪白的梨花，记得自己官微职冷时身穿青衫妓院中曾得到她的赏识，一直玩到月色西斜才跨马沿着归路返家。
美人啊常常在翠镜中照着自己憔悴的颜容，两袖上沾满了相思啼哭的泪花，当年醉后舞墨题诗红墙之上，美女仿效前人在题诗的壁上笼上碧纱。今日重新相逢说不尽平生心事，无限情思全都凝聚在传情的琵琶。
注释
乌夜啼：词牌名，原为唐教坊曲，三十六字，上片平韵，下片两仄韵两平韵。
章台：本为战国时秦国宫名。汉代在此台下有章台街，张敞曾走马过此街。唐人许尧佐有《章台柳传》，后人便以章台为歌妓聚居之处。
玉鞭斜：这里指月色西斜才策马回家。
啼：啼哭。
醉墨笼纱（lóng shā）：此用“碧纱笼”故事。唐代王播少孤贫，寄居扬州惠昭寺木兰院，为诸僧所不礼。后播贵，重游旧地，见昔日在寺壁上所题诗句已被僧用碧纱盖其上。
春思入琵琶（pí pá）：把春天的情思付之琵琶而弹奏。用晏几道“琵琶弦上说相思”诗意。

乌夜啼·离恨远萦杨柳创作背景
金代中后期，词人仕途不顺，且多流落于青楼之地，于是词人为了表达自己内心的苦闷之情以及对美人的怀念之情，写下了这首词。

乌夜啼·离恨远萦杨柳鉴赏
上片写词人对一位歌姬的怀念和对于往昔冶游生活的回忆。“离恨”两句，写怀念人物却不直接点明对象，“杨柳”、“梨花”以两个形象优美的事物来比喻被怀念的歌姬，给读者带来丰富的美感。柳丝飘飘柔媚非常，使人联想到歌姬那婷婷的腰。而“梨花”也曾被白居易形容为“梨花一枝春带雨”，描写杨玉环流泪的美容。杨柳，梨花使歌姬妖娆柔美，如花如柳的形象如立眼前。“青衫”二句，追忆往日情怀。“青衫”，唐时九品小官的服饰，这里借指作者本人。“章台”本为战国秦之宫殿，唐时许尧佐有《章台柳传》流传，后人便以章台为歌妓聚居之处。
下片走旧地重游，两人重聚。“翠镜啼痕”两句，写歌姬不忘旧情，终日以泪挂面，啼袖笼纱描写歌姬的病情。这几句词既香艳又有书卷气，可称是“好色不淫”“艳而不靡”。最后两句“相逢”，写两人重聚，百感交集，为表深情，女子把满腔情思注入琵琶，以此来表达“说不尽的无限事”。

刘迎（？—1180）金代诗人、词人，字无党，号无诤居士。东莱（今山东莱州）人。曾为唐州幕官。世宗大定十三年（1173）以荐书对策为当时第一，次年登进士第，授豳王府记室，改任太子司经，颇受金世宗第二子显宗允恭的亲重。大定二十年“从驾凉陉”，因病去世。
