鹊桥仙·说盟说誓鉴赏
陆游的一位门客，从蜀地带回一妓，陆游将她安置在外室居住，这位门客每隔数日去看望她一次。客偶然因患病而暂时离去，引起了蜀妓的疑心，客作词解释，妓和韵填了这首词以作答。见周密《齐东野语》卷十一。
蜀妓疑团虽已得释，但怨气犹在，故开端三句写道：“说盟说誓，说情说意，动便春愁满纸。”这定是针对客词的内容而发的，所以故意以恼怒的口吻，嗔怪其甜言蜜语、虚情假意。连用四个“说”字，是为了加强语气，再加上“动便”二字，指明他说这些花言巧语已是惯技，不可轻信。其实她此时心头怒火已熄，对其心爱之人并非真恨真怨，只不过是要用怨语气气他，以泄心头因相思疑心而产生的郁闷，而这恰恰也是对他深爱和怕真正失去他的一种曲折心理的表现。
对对方情急盟誓和申辩，这位职明灵巧、心地善良的女子终以半气半戏之笔加以责怪：“多应念得脱空经，是那个先生教底？”脱空，是指说话不老实、弄虚作假。宋代吕本中《东莱紫微师友杂记》说：“刘器之（安世）尝论至诚之道，凡事据实而言，才涉诈伪，后来忘了前话，便是脱空。”“脱空”当是宋人俗语，她借此讽其所爱之人的殷殷的盟誓之言是念的一本扯谎经，不过是骗她而已。再补上一句“是那个先生教底？”以俏皮的口吻出之，至此，蜀妓佯嗔带笑之态活现在读者眼前了。
下阕蜀妓回过口气来，申说自己相思之苦：“不茶不饭，不言不语，一味供他憔悴。”连用四个“不”字，“不茶，不饭，不言，不语”，与上阕四个说相对的深重，而“一味供他（为他）憔悴”，更见其痴爱。这正化用了情思柳永《蝶恋花》中“衣带渐宽终不悔，为伊消得人憔悴”尽管她精神上遭到难以忍受的痛苦和折磨，而情意仍诚挚不变：“相思已是不曾闲，又那得功夫咒你。”连爱都来不及，那还有时间去咒你，这表现得极为真切入微！这是舍不得咒，不忍心咒呵！从这至爱的深情，可知其上阕对客的责怨。也全出于爱之过甚。一个生活在社会下层的妓女，被人轻视，求偶极难。“易求无价宝，难得有情郎”，这是多少烟花女子切身痛苦的体验。而一旦得一知心人，又是多么害怕失去他。故蜀妓此时所表现的又气又恼、又爱又痴的情态是极真实而又具有典型意义的。
全词感情发自肺腑，出之自然。语言通俗，文意浅白，几乎全用口语，不假雕饰，更不隐晦完全出于真情实感不但使人物性格更加鲜明、更加个性化，且使全词生动活泼，富有生活气息。张耒在《贺方回乐府序》中说：“文章之于人，有满心而发，肆口而成，不待思虑而工，不待雕琢而丽者，皆天理之自然，性情之至道也。”蜀妓词之至妙，恰是如此。
