译文
整日没有心思去描眉梳妆打扮，我愁容满面地看着心上人打点行装。饯别的宴席上担心破坏了你的心情，双眼蓄满泪水不敢落下来。
为君捧杯饯行，相斟相劝又怎么忍心分离呢？不如让我先喝醉了，只希望我醉得不知道你是何时离我而去的。
注释
镇日：整日，成天。 扫黛眉：画眉，意即化妆。
阁泪：含着眼泪。
瑶卮（zhī）：玉制的酒器，用做酒器的美称。
鹧鸪天·镇日无心扫黛眉创作背景
宋庆历元年（1041年）四月，诏夏竦为宣徽南院使兼陕西四路经略安抚招讨等使，判永兴军，韩琦、范仲淹为副使。新任陕西经略安抚副使韩琦命部将任福统军迎击元昊的西夏军。夏竦历经战乱，深感百姓离别愁绪，作词抒发内心对战乱给黎明百姓造成分别的不满之情。

鹧鸪天·镇日无心扫黛眉鉴赏
本词是一首送别词。写一位女子与爱人分别时的离情愁绪。起首一句，写女子在爱人离别之前无精打采的神情。她整天百无聊赖，连黛眉也不扫了，可见心情确实糟糕透了。古代有“女为悦已者容”之说。《诗经》中也有“自伯之东，首如琶蓬。岂无膏沐，谁适为容”的诗句。这里的女主人公既有为爱人要出门远行，没有心情去化妆之意，也寓有今后没有爱人的欣赏，不必化妆之意。自己没有心情化妆也就罢了，她甚至一见爱人打点行装就产生了无限愁绪，可见两人之间依恋之情是多么深厚。这里的“愁见”一词的运用也恰到好处，与“愁看”是有意识、尚可接受的情形不同。“愁见”则有情绪突然触发，没有思想准备之意。同时也说明了她虽然知道爱人即将出发，但对于何时理征衣却还没来得及想过，这也表观了女子在离别突然到来之时的种种惊愕和惘然。“愁见”对应前句“无心”，意思上则深入一层。虽然分别在即，心存难舍和不忍，然而又唯恐对方伤心，便竭力控制自己的情绪，以至于饯别的宴席上，女子虽然难受得两眼是泪，却不敢让自已的泪泉涌流出来。“多情却似总无情，唯觉樽前笑不成”（唐杜牧《赠别》）可见别情之凄婉厚重。
下阕写停下车马、把酒相别的情景。送别前“相斟相劝”，一语道破送别前女子心情的煎熬，表面的平静和内心隐伏的痛苦相对比。此处“相”是相互之意，说明二人情深意厚．有依依惜别的伤心之情。“忍分离”的“忍”字具有双重含义。一方面是“不忍”，即内心不忍分离；另一方面又是必须“忍”，即强忍住痛苦，以免对方过分感伤。结尾两句是女子深挚婉曲的内心独白，构思奇特，最为警策。前面写自己强忍着眼泪想宽解心上人，但感情的自控总有个限度，说不定到分手时还会伤心流泪，情难自已。与其见证分别场面的种种痛苦情状，倒不如索性醉倒梦乡，不见离别不见泪，或许对于双方求说更好些。这两句同把女主人公的款款深情抒写得深沉含蓄、感人肺腑。前面的伤感情意至此已全面爆发。在全篇蓄势已足的情况下，正话反说，使得所有酝酿已久的情绪得到激发。以此收尾，也给人以含思不尽之况味。
全词语浅情深，深婉曲折，凄美灵动，诚为早期送别词中不可多得的佳作。

夏竦，字子乔，北宋大臣，古文字学家，初谥“文正”，后改谥“文庄”。夏竦以文学起家，曾为国史编修官，也曾任多地官员，宋真宗时为襄州知州，宋仁宗时为洪州知州，后任陕西经略、安抚、招讨使等职。由于夏竦对文学的造诣很深，所以他的很多作品都流传于后世。
