译文
蓝山耸天而立如同一道墙壁，突兀而出像鲸鱼额头。
如奔如蹙横在澄彻的深潭之前，其势吞没落星之石。
溪沙带着秋月的明辉，潭水摇荡光映寒山翠碧。
如此佳境真应缓棹慢行，如此清辉光彩真能留客脚步。
遗憾的是您不能来此欢游，使我心中又惊又忧。
我所期望的是您我共同在此占卜选址，盖筑茅屋炼长生不老之药。
注释
泾溪：在泾县西南一里。蓝山：在泾县西南六十里，危崖高耸，下临落星潭。落星潭：在蓝山下。相传晋时有陈霜兄弟捕鱼于此，见一星落潭中，故以为名。蓝山山腰间旧有石台，名“放歌台”，又名“饮酒台”，相传李白曾与汪伦等人在此饮酒放歌。蓝山有瀑布注入山下，经五里长的溪滩，汇入泾溪。此滩名叫“活泼滩"，因李白在此游览过，所以人们又称它为“太白滩”。
何判官昌浩：判官为采访使及节度使的属员，幽州节度使判官，安禄山使者。何昌浩，泾县人，见天宝十载《赠何七判官昌浩》题解及按语。李白好友，李白曾多次写诗赠他。
蓝岑：即蓝山。
突兀：高耸貌。
奔蹙：指山如奔如蹙。蹙，屈聚紧缩。
恨：深以为憾。
君：指何判官
惊惕，即警惕。
卜筑：择地而居。
结茅：筑茅屋。
金液：指长生不老药。

天宝十二年（公元753年），李白五十三岁。《泾溪南蓝山下有落星潭可以卜筑余泊舟石上寄何判官昌浩》是李白游泾县蓝山所作，大约作于安禄山反叛之前。

“蓝岑竦天壁，突兀如鲸额”运用铺叙的方法，描绘一幅蓝岑危崖高耸、突兀如鲸鱼额的壮阔山河风景图。
“奔蹙横澄潭，势吞落星石”以比喻修辞手法来形容蓝山悬崖怪石在落星潭里的倒影如猛兽扑向潭下，要把落星潭一口吞下去。
“沙带秋月明，水摇寒山碧”描写活泼滩下的白沙与秋月相映衬，月光和滩水分外明亮。上句“带”与下句“摇”相互映衬。
“佳境宜缓棹，清辉能留客”紧扣上文，如此佳境可以吸引人驻足，雅俗共赏、叹为观止。
“恨君阻欢游，使我自惊惕”暗寓如此意境开阔、气象雄伟的美景，“君”此时未能与诗人一道欢游，遗憾情愫跃然纸上，亦隐隐流露出“君若不来同游，我将深以为憾，亦自知警惕，誓不汝从也。”的意蕴。
“所期俱卜筑，结茅炼金液”，重申对友人的忠告，劝其趁此脱身，归隐林下。
综观全诗，首四句似写蓝山风景之奇特，实喻幽州形势之危急。次四句亦然，佳境、清辉之句，似是留客之辞，实则促友人醒悟之意也。末四句劝告友人趁此脱身，归隐林下。正如“君若不来同游，我将深以为憾，亦自知警惕，誓不汝从也。”表达出李白希望友人何判官能同他一起，在蓝山隐居，炼丹学道。

李白（701年－762年），字太白，号青莲居士，唐朝浪漫主义诗人，被后人誉为“诗仙”。祖籍陇西成纪(待考)，出生于西域碎叶城，4岁再随父迁至剑南道绵州。李白存世诗文千余篇，有《李太白集》传世。762年病逝，享年61岁。其墓在今安徽当涂，四川江油、湖北安陆有纪念馆。
