译文
当年在西都洛阳共同渡过的那段欢乐豪纵的生活时光早已成为往事。自兹一别之后，离散至今，还有谁能够再聚在一起？仔细回想昔日与友人同游洛阳伊川山水，一齐观看城中牡丹的情景，竟然如同在梦境中一样。
今天我和你又再次相逢，回首往事，话题更多，情意也更加深重，愁的是那画楼上的钟声不时响起，传入耳中，好像在说时间不早了，还喋喋不休地谈论个什么。如今你我白发苍苍，垂垂老矣，此情此景，何不开怀畅饮，然后再彼此告别，管他是谁送谁呢。
注释
夜行船：词牌名，《太平乐府》、《中原音韵》、元高拭词，俱注双调。黄公绍词，名《明月棹孤舟》。双调五十五字，前后段各四句，三仄韵。
西都：北宋以洛阳为陪都，因在开封西，故称洛阳为西都。
伊川：水名，即伊河，源出河南卢氏县东熊耳山，流经嵩县、伊川，洛阳，至偃师，入洛河。
洛川：洛水，源出陕西雒南县冢岭山。
旧游：指与欧阳修相交的梅尧臣等七人。
殢（tì）：本意为滞留，沉溺于，此指醉酒。

夜行船·忆昔西都欢纵创作背景
该词作于仁宗庆历八年（1048），当时欧阳修四十二岁。这年闰正月，他由滁州知州调任扬州知州，友人梅尧臣则从宣城赴陈州任签书判官，路过扬州时与欧阳修相会。老友相见，感喟良多，且此时洛阳旧交谢绛、尹洙、张汝士三人都已去世，更使二人的相聚充满了悲情。

夜行船·忆昔西都欢纵鉴赏
上片忆旧。“忆昔西都欢纵。自别后、有谁能共”这一深沉的慨叹蕴含着词人对青春生活的追忆，同时，更饱含着词人对洛中故友的深切缅怀。而事实上，在洛中与欧阳修相交甚欢的友人多半已经辞世，宋宝元二年（1039），谢绛卒，宋庆历七年（1047），尹洙又卒。到如今，昔日同在西京诗酒欢会、纵情游赏的友人，只有梅尧臣尚在，因而令词人十分感伤。所以一句“有谁能共”又包含着世事无常、人生沧桑之感。正因为如此，当词人回忆当年遍赏伊川山水洛川花的情形之时，不禁产生如梦如幻的感觉。“细寻思、旧游如梦”，细细寻思旧时同游之事，恍如一梦。
下片感今，述洛中故友多凋零，如今自首重聚痛饮，感慨良多，无限伤感。“今日相逢情愈重”三句叙写词人与友人久别重逢后的感受，沧桑的经历使二人更觉相互间情谊的厚重。一个“愁”字隐蕴对即将到来的离别的无限惆怅伤感。人生如此无常，故今挚友梅尧臣能折道来探望自己，让词人备觉这份情谊的珍贵。但白发相逢，词人终是难禁伤感之情。“愁闻唱、画楼钟动”，此一可理解为与老友畅谈之时，画楼钟声响起，警醒词人相聚之时在不断的流逝，故尔令闻者愁。二或可理解为筵席间歌女唱起了昔日洛中好友如今已然辞世的谢绛所填之词中的词句，“月西斜，画楼钟动”。词在人亡，引发筵席间词人的深重悲伤。末二句写词人面对又将到来的离别而劝饮的情景。老友见面，总是意味着许多的沧桑回忆，许多的酸甜苦辣，这些又岂是三言两语所能道尽的，眼下又要分别了，此地一别，此生还能否相见尚不得而知，因此还是撇开往事开怀畅饮，往事已够让人遗憾的了，千万不要再给此次相逢留下什么遗憾。句中的“此景”，是别离之景，更是人生迟暮之景。

欧阳修（1007－1072），字永叔，号醉翁，晚号“六一居士”。汉族，吉州永丰（今江西省永丰县）人，因吉州原属庐陵郡，以“庐陵欧阳修”自居。谥号文忠，世称欧阳文忠公。北宋政治家、文学家、史学家，与韩愈、柳宗元、王安石、苏洵、苏轼、苏辙、曾巩合称“唐宋八大家”。后人又将其与韩愈、柳宗元和苏轼合称“千古文章四大家”。
