周郎年少，正雄姿历落，江东人杰。八十万军飞一炬，风卷滩前黄叶。楼舻云崩，旌旗电扫，熛射江流血。咸阳三月，火光无此横绝。
想他豪竹哀丝，回头顾曲，虎帐谈兵歇。公瑾伯符天挺秀，中道君臣惜别。吴蜀交疏，炎刘鼎沸，老魅成奸黠。至今遗恨，秦淮夜夜幽咽。
念奴娇·周瑜宅译文及注释
译文
周瑜正年轻，雄姿英发，是江东出类拔萃的人才。曹操八十万大军被周瑜的火攻之计一举烧光。曹军为火攻所败，战船被焚，旌旗一空，死尸逐波，血染江水。项羽焚烧秦咸阳宫殿，也赶不上这次火势凶猛。
周瑜在军帐中听着音乐就指挥了这场战争。周瑜和孙策都天资挺秀，可惜在中年君臣就惜别了。赤壁战后，吴、蜀因争夺荆州连年攻战，加之东汉政权极度动荡不稳，因使曹操“挟天子以令诸侯”之计得以成功。周瑜死后，吴国终于灭亡，秦淮流水发出幽咽之声，宛如周郎叹恨不已。
注释
周郎年少：《三国志·周瑜传》载，建安三年孙策授瑜建威中郎将，“瑜时年二十四，吴中皆呼为周郎”。建安十三年破操军时他才三十四岁。
历落：清矫拔俗的样子。
江东：长江以东，指东吴。
风卷滩前黄叶：形容火势凶猛。赤壁之战时曹操南征大军号称八十万，船舰泊于长江北岸赤壁之下，周瑜部将黄盖献火攻之计，遂烧操战船并延烧岸上营垒，操军败退。
楼橹：古时作战供侦察、防守和攻城用的木制高台，这里指曹军的战船。
熛（biāo）：迸飞的火焰。《史记·项羽本纪》：“项羽……烧秦宫室，火三月不灭。”
横绝：这里形容火势凶猛。
豪竹哀丝：指管弦乐器。
顾曲：《周瑜传》载：“瑜少精意于音乐，虽三爵之后，其有阙误，瑜必知之，知之必顾。故时人谣曰：曲有误，周郎顾。”
虎帐：军中帅帐陈虎皮，故云。
中道：中年。公瑾，周瑜字。伯符，孙策字。策，长沙太守孙坚之子，权兄。坚死后，孙策割据江东吴、会稽等五郡，封吴侯。孙策与周瑜是生死之交。建安五年，策死，年仅二十六岁，故云“中道惜别”。
交疏：关系疏远。
炎刘：汉，刘姓，以火德王，故称。
老魅：指曹操。
周瑜临终前与孙权书：“修短命矣，诚不足惜，但恨微志未展，不复奉教命耳。”

念奴娇·周瑜宅创作背景
这组词共十二首，作于雍正十年（1732年），当时板桥赴南京乡试。应试之余，板桥情绪极好，诗兴大发，游历了金陵、杭州的名胜古迹，以“念奴娇”的词牌写成了《金陵怀古十二首》，展现了板桥在作词方面的才华。

郑板桥（1693—1765）清代官吏、书画家、文学家。名燮，字克柔，汉族，江苏兴化人。一生主要客居扬州，以卖画为生。“扬州八怪”之一。其诗、书、画均旷世独立，，世称“三绝”，擅画兰、竹、石、松、菊等植物，其中画竹已五十余年，成就最为突出。著有《板桥全集》。康熙秀才、雍正举人、乾隆元年进士。中进士后曾历官河南范县、山东潍县知县，有惠政。以请臻饥民忤大吏，乞疾归。
