梅片作团飞，雨外柳丝金湿。客子短篷无据，倚长风挂席。
回头流水小桥东，烟扫画楼出。楼上有人凝伫，似旧家曾识。
好事近·梅片作团飞鉴赏
这首词是写一个长期客游在外的游子，在梅片纷飞，细雨绵绵的日子里，乘船归来。穿过小桥流水，雨过天晴。画楼远现，抬头无望，楼上伫立着一位佳人，曾似旧家相识的她。
“梅片作团飞，雨外柳丝金湿。”梅花片片，随风飞舞，嫩黄的柳条，沾满细雨，随风摇摆。“客子短篷无据，倚长风挂席。”游子乘坐一只小篷船，没有在边停泊，依仗着长风，扬帆航行。上片是写，在梅雨天气，一位游子，扬帆归来，归心似箭的心情，全写出来了。
下片，“回流水小桥东，烟扫画楼出。”船在东风中向西航行，转眼间穿越小桥流水，烟消雨霁，回望画楼高耸。“楼上有人凝伫，似旧家曾识。”远望有位佳人，伫立高楼上，还像是似曾相识。楼上的佳人，也会同样在想“似曾相识燕归来”这首词，在结尾时收得好。在文学史上，有好多诗词，由于结尾收得简洁，成为名篇名句。如王昌龄《芙蓉楼送辛渐》：“洛阳亲友如相问，一片冰心在玉壶。”高适《别董大》：“莫愁前路无知己，天下谁人不识君”。杜甫《江南逢李龟年》：“正是江南好风景，落花时节又逢君。”这些诗的结尾，都是符合本文前面提出的三条。本词的结尾，也显示出这种妙用。
