译文
谁说愁绪太短，连续不断没有办法剪断。半年来，双眉紧皱没有展开过，只有明月清风陪伴着你，任何人也无法猜透你的心情。
春雨融化了冰冻，暖风吹走了冷灰。对着美酒，一首曲子为谁唱？有心保留一首没有唱完的曲子等着你到来。
注释
南歌子：词牌名。词牌名。唐教坊曲。又名《南柯子》、《凤蝶令》等。有单调、双调两体。双调又有平韵、仄韵两体。宋人多用平韵体，此词用平韵体。
寸恨：轻微的愁怅。
绵绵：连续不断的样子。岂易：难道容易。裁：剪断。
眉绿：深色的眉。眉，女子的代称，这里系指同安君王闰之。
闲处：僻静的地方。
是人：人人，任何人。猜：猜疑。
残冻：尚未消除的冬寒。
温风：和暖的风。冷灰：冷灶。这里代指贫苦生活。
尊前：对饮酒场面。
留取：保存。一拍：一首吟咏曲子。

南歌子·感旧创作背景
宋神宗元丰二年（1080年）十二月，苏轼因“乌台诗案”刑满释放后，被贬居黄州。宋神宗元丰三年（1080年）二月，苏轼到达黄州，该词是苏轼在黄州怀念妻子王闰之所作。

南歌子·感旧鉴赏
上片以景情相生与渗入意念之笔，传达了苏轼与王闰之双双思念之心态。“寸恨云谁短，绵绵岂易裁？”点化运用了韩愈《感春五首》“孤吟屡阕莫与和，寸恨至短谁能裁？”和白居易《长恨歌》“天长地久有时尽，此恨绵绵无绝期”的诗句，将双方隐隐的恨怅和连续不断、无法剪断的情丝吐于字里行间。“半年眉绿未曾开”，是说宋神宗元丰二年八月，苏轼入狱离开王闰之，十二月二十六日获释。第二年二月一日到达贬所黄州，正好是半年时光。已经虚惊了一场的王闰之，这半年的愁眉怎么能展开。“明月好风闲处，是人猜”，写王闰之僻居一偶，只有明月、清风作伴，任何人也无法猜透她此时此刻思夫的心情。一个“猜”字，将王闰之思夫的心态传达得十分贴切。
下片以景融情与回味之笔，似梦非梦地追寻“寸恨”与绵情欲剪断之心绪。“春雨消残冻，温风到冷灰”，残冻被春雨消融，冷灶被温风暖复。通过这一对偶句所写自然界的变化，寓隐着王闰之面临着的将是良辰美景。“尊前一曲为谁哉”透过一层，反衬出昔日夫妻对酒当歌而今定有回报的新情滋生。“留取曲终一拍，待君来”再进深一层，回到眼前，苏轼将用保存着的那尚未吟咏完的一曲欢歌迎接你的到来。宋神宗元丰三年二月中旬，苏辙乘船送嫂嫂，五月底到达黄州，苏轼与王闰之团聚。“寸恨”、绵情终于裁缝，梦幻变成现实。正是“别来音信全乖，旧期前情堪猜。”（宋代欧阳修《清平乐·小庭春老》），颇有新奇巧妙、余音绕梁之艺术效果。
全词运用景与情、意念与感触、梦幻与现实交融手法，把苏轼与妻子王闰之的绵绵恩爱与忠贞不渝之情熔铸于字里行间。较之苏轼以前所写的怀念前妻王弗的《一斛珠·洛城春晚》毫不逊色，有异曲同工之妙。

苏轼（1037－1101），北宋文学家、书画家、美食家。字子瞻，号东坡居士。汉族，四川人，葬于颍昌（今河南省平顶山市郏县）。一生仕途坎坷，学识渊博，天资极高，诗文书画皆精。其文汪洋恣肆，明白畅达，与欧阳修并称欧苏，为“唐宋八大家”之一；诗清新豪健，善用夸张、比喻，艺术表现独具风格，与黄庭坚并称苏黄；词开豪放一派，对后世有巨大影响，与辛弃疾并称苏辛；书法擅长行书、楷书，能自创新意，用笔丰腴跌宕，有天真烂漫之趣，与黄庭坚、米芾、蔡襄并称宋四家；画学文同，论画主张神似，提倡“士人画”。著有《苏东坡全集》和《东坡乐府》等。
