浣溪沙·草偃云低渐合围译文及注释
译文
草偃茫茫，云层很低，空间已经越来越小，对猎物已经形成合围之势。手中的弓不停的发射箭矢，跨下的马奔跑如飞。猎手发出爽朗的笑声在随从的拥护下满载猎物归来。
再有本领的人不如拥有一副好的身手，人的一生要好好珍惜少年时光。不要等到年老时还在书帷下皓首穷经。
注释
①草偃(yǎn)：草被风吹倒。《论语·颜渊》：“草上之风必偃。此处是指围猎。”
②雕弓：刻花纹的弓。
③从骑：骑马的随从。
④身手：本领，杜甫《哀王孙》诗：“朔方健儿好身手。”
⑤白首：谓年老。下书帷(wéi)：指教书。引申指闭门苦读。《史记·儒林列传》：“董仲舒……孝景时为博士，下帷讲诵”。

浣溪沙·草偃云低渐合围创作背景
这首词作于1904年秋天，当时清廷已经走向末日。王国维虽然身为文人，但也为之忧心忡忡。不过王国维当时只是一个学校教员，只能借这首词来抒发自己的雄心壮志。

浣溪沙·草偃云低渐合围鉴赏
这首词不同与王国维另一首写围猎的词《浣溪沙·六郡良家最少年》，那一首更多的是描写了豪侠的个人英姿。这一首却是由围猎活谈及个人的内心活动，更多的点出国家的危难，而自己却是一个百无一用的书生。
上片三句，写出了一场围猎从开始到结束的全部过程。“合围”，是这场射猎的开始。“草偃云低”本是写围场影物，放在“合围”的前边就有一种天罗地网的感觉，好像天地草木也在听从人的指挥参与对鸟兽的包围。“雕弓声急马如飞”是写豪侠少年高超的骑射本领；“笑呼从骑载禽归”是写围猎结束满载猎物而归时的得意心情。这首词中豪侠少年的形象与作者在另一首《浣溪沙》中所写的那个“闲抛金弹落飞鸢”的豪侠少年形象有一些不同。那一首中的少年形象仅仅是风流潇洒、射艺出众，而这首词中“草偃云低”的描写，使这个少年还带有一种指挥者的威严之气。史载赤璧之战前曹操致书孙权曰：“今治水军八十万众，方与将军会猎于吴。”自古以来，围场可以喻指战场，打猎可以喻指用兵。王国维把自己想像成围猎活动的主人公，在这场“战事”中大振神威，说明他内心中同样有一种对戎马生涯的渴望。
下片三句的牢骚。人们常说，“万般皆下品，惟有读书高”。作者认为乱世的文人，读了一辈子书，既无权势以骄人，又无缚鸡之力以自卫。古代的卫、霍的功勋自不用提，游侠的气概也也无从谈起。假如说读书是为了明理，则明理恰足以给自己带来“世人皆醉我独醒”的痛苦。扬雄投阁，龚生竟夭，文人的悲剧古已有之。所以，习文不如习武，年轻人有一副好身手，纵不能替天行道，总不致像那些文人在乱世中连保全自己的能力都没有。如果结合作者的实际情况来看，则这理想近于虚幻。因为“体素羸弱”而称“万事不如身手好”，有一种无能为力的悲哀；人近三十而言“一生须惜少年时”，有一种无可奈何的遗憾；身为文人却说“那能白首下书帷”，有一种不甘心于现状的苦闷。
