译文
向往归居的心已有多年，仕途上风尘仆仆人已疲倦，双鬓如今已经白发点点。想想看追逐名利怎如平淡之水长远，我隐野的决心之大能比得上天。
到那时将有无数一醉方休的流连，看花开花落，每日都是快乐的一天，更喜爱那雨后明媚的青山。我将用我的小船装满美酒，邀好友相聚畅饮不断，再不让美好的情景溜走，徒将我的时光空闲。
注释
长年心事寄林扃（jiōnɡ）：指长久以来希望隐居的心愿。
星星：鬓发花白貌。（晋）左思《白发赋》：“星星白发，生于鬓垂。”
花残日永：花已凋谢，白日也更显漫长。

朝中措·长年心事寄林扃鉴赏
这首词表现了范成大对仕宦生涯的厌倦、淡漠和对归隐山林的向往之情。上片，就云水写怀。“芳意”当指仕宦之情，“归心”则是摆脱官场的退隐之心。词人认为前者“不如水远”，后者却“欲与云平”，所以他才会“长年心事寄林扃”，无时无刻不心向往之。下片，写归隐山林的乐趣。过片三句，设想春景明媚之时，携酒出游，流连一醉，山林间必也其乐陶陶。结尾二句发誓说，从此以后我要载酒船中随意漂游，绝不把大好春光白白错过。全篇表现了一种恬淡的心境，呈现了一个散漫疏阔、洒脱不羁的抒情主人公的形象。这首词与辛弃疾那些豪放纵横的词相比较，便会明显地感受到另一种美。陈廷焯《白雨斋词话》评论说：“石湖词音节最婉转，读稼轩词后读石湖词，令人心平气和。”我们读这首词，便会有这种“心平气和”的感觉。

范成大（1126-1193），字致能，号称石湖居士。汉族，平江吴县（今江苏苏州）人。南宋诗人。谥文穆。从江西派入手，后学习中、晚唐诗，继承了白居易、王建、张籍等诗人新乐府的现实主义精神，终于自成一家。风格平易浅显、清新妩媚。诗题材广泛，以反映农村社会生活内容的作品成就最高。他与杨万里、陆游、尤袤合称南宋“中兴四大诗人”。
