译文
窗帘上落满了灰尘，素带飘飞，我在凄凉的心境里不知不觉度过了这个悲凉的夜晚。好几次偷偷地流下眼泪，猛然间看到你用过的妆奁翠翘。
心中唯有幽怨，对一切都兴味索然。天已五更，又是一个残花飘落的早晨，颓败的杨柳已经落尽了树叶。凄风冷雨抽打着画桥，怎能不令人愁思满怀。
注释
于中好：即《鹧鸪天》，词牌名。双调五十五字，前后阕各三平韵，一韵到底。上阕第三四句、下阕第一二句一般要求对仗。也是曲牌名。
疏帘：指稀疏的竹制窗帘。素带：白色的带子，服丧用。
真成：真个。的确。暗度：不知不觉地过去。
青衫：青色的衣衫，黑色的衣服，古代指书生。
犀奁（xī lián）：以犀角制做饰物的妆奁。翠翘：古代妇人首饰的一种，状似翠鸟尾上的长羽。故名：这里指亡妻遗物。
冷雨西风：形容恶劣的天气或悲惨凄凉的处境。画桥：雕饰华丽的桥梁。

词作于康熙十六年（1677年）十月初四，第二天就是亡妻卢氏的生日，这引发了诗人对亡妻深深的怀念，遂赋此词以寄哀思。

上片写室内，亡妻逝去后的尘帘飘带、妆奁翠翘等遗痕遗物，由此触发了对亡妻的深深的悼念，致使通宵不眠，清泪偷弹。“尘满疏帘素带飘，真成暗度可怜宵”，夜已深沉，窗帘上落满尘土，风儿静静地吹了进来，只见素带飘动——这是惟一的“动”，除此之外，世界一片死寂。这个夜晚，难道真的就要这样伤痛地度过。初四之夜，不但是个“可怜宵”，还要“暗度”，自是凄凉孤寂之意。想纳兰性德和卢氏此时，也正是风流年纪，而本是最当珍重的一个晚上却只有纳兰性德一人孤单度过了，又该是怎样一番感触。“疏帘”“灰尘”“素带”这几个意象整体给人营造出来的感觉是：物是人非，人去楼空，往事尘封。“几回偷拭青衫泪，忽傍犀奁见翠翘”，纳兰性德在这个寂寥的夜晚，好几次想起妻子，总要偷偷地抹上几回眼泪。忽然看见妻子的梳妆盒旁边躺着一支翠翘，更不由得睹物思人。在这个场景里，纳兰性德是一个人夜不能寐。但他不睡，别人未必都陪着他不睡。屋子里只有他一个人沉思往事，所以流泪也就流泪了，犯不上“偷偷地抹去眼泪”，又没人看，词中就是虚笔了，“偷”作为一个符号意象，所传达的一个意思是：情何以堪
下片又扩展到室外，用室外之景进一步烘托出难耐的愁情。“惟有恨，转无聊。五更依旧落花朝”，夜不能寐，转眼已是五更天，马上就要天亮了。“落花朝”即落花时节的早晨。十月初五不是落花时节，五月才是。卢氏之死正在五月。纳兰性德由妻子的生辰想到忌日，“依旧”二字无限悲伤：说到底，妻子也不可能死而复生，失去的便永远也回不来了，以后的每一天都是一个落花朝呀。“衰杨叶尽丝难尽，冷雨凄风打画桥”，最后两句以景语作结，强化了词人内心的愁苦。室外景象依然，同样的“落花朝”，同样的“画桥”，但却生死殊途，物是人非了，故而今日只有长恨复长恨，痛苦难消，百无聊赖。
这首悼亡词写得尤为低落惨淡，此时的纳兰已经英雄气短，唯有儿女情长，他失去了一生的红颜知己，虽然还有很多好友还陪伴在他的身边，但是妻子是他们所不能代替的，因此纳兰不会再有幸福，他甚至还在这首词中流露出对人生的厌倦。

纳兰性德（1655－1685），满洲人，字容若，号楞伽山人，清代最著名词人之一。其诗词“纳兰词”在清代以至整个中国词坛上都享有很高的声誉，在中国文学史上也占有光采夺目的一席。他生活于满汉融合时期，其贵族家庭兴衰具有关联于王朝国事的典型性。虽侍从帝王，却向往经历平淡。特殊的生活环境背景，加之个人的超逸才华，使其诗词创作呈现出独特的个性和鲜明的艺术风格。流传至今的《木兰花令·拟古决绝词》——“人生若只如初见，何事秋风悲画扇？等闲变却故人心，却道故人心易变。”富于意境，是其众多代表作之一。
