译文
家住在江南水乡金陵边，嫁给了长安少年。
回首故乡双泪落，群山遮眼不知在哪边。
战争何时能完结，明月何时能再圆？
吟成这首怨曲向君弹唱，不觉心凄弦也断。
注释
怨歌行属乐府曲名，属《相和歌·楚调曲》。
金陵：古邑名，今南京的别称。战国楚威王七年（前333年）灭越后在今南京清凉山（石城山）设金陵邑。
长安少年：西汉武帝时，多选良家少年宿卫建章宫，这些人便有“羽林少年”、“长安少年”等称呼。
何处天边：指远在天边的故乡。
胡尘：泛指中原与北方及西方各少数民族的战事。尽：指战事平息。
此曲：指这首《怨歌行》曲。
断弦：弦断。“心随断弦”指心随断弦而碎，表示悲痛到了极点。

怨歌行创作背景
梁元帝承圣三年（554年），庾信奉命出使西魏，抵达长安不久，西魏攻克梁都城江陵，元帝被杀，梁朝覆灭，而他被迫留在长安。北周取代西魏后，他又被北周留用。在当时，金陵是南朝的国都，长安是北朝西魏和北周的京城。庾信被迫羁留北朝，虽然受到西魏和北周的礼遇，优居高位，但故国之思和乡关之念却时时折磨着他的心灵，使他痛苦不堪。此诗即借女子自伤远嫁，来抒写自己内心的苦闷和对南方故园的思念之情。

怨歌行鉴赏
开头两句，以本住南朝京城金陵（即建康，今江苏省南京市）而不意远嫁于长安（今陕西省西安市）的女子，比拟自己本为南朝忠贞之臣，却于政局突变中误陷异域，羁留于北朝京城。一“住”一“嫁”，衔接紧凑，出语天然；但，是喜是悲，尚未分明。于是逗起悬念，引人观瞻。
紧接着三四两句，用“泪落”这一饱含激动情态的特有形象，回答并肯定了是悲而非喜的前面悬念；又以“何处天边”的疑问，拓开了绵远而深沉的想象与思念。由“金陵”而至“长安”，地域虽远，但都属于京都大邑，相比于荒漠苦野，犹未见其太大的不幸。申之以“不知何处天边”，就把女子（诗人自己的喻体）身在长安却终日向故乡引颈远望，望眼欲穿，终究是可望而不可即的心态，鲜明地突现于画面。魏晋时期人们有“举目见日，不见长安”（见《世说新语·夙惠》）的说法，以“日下”喻京都。这里诗人却反拨为身居京都长安而远望天边故乡，仿佛那遥远而又分明的“天边”，才是真正的“日下”，形成言有尽而意无穷的艺术引发力。
五六两句，以“胡尘”与“汉月”并举，对仗工整，精警显豁。用一贬意分明的“尘”埃，笼括北方“胡”地；又用一美感鲜朗的“圆”“月”，象征南方的祖国。并进而一呼“应尽”，一盼“更圆”，于委婉中流溢着激越之情，在期望中潜孕着愤慨之意，产生含蓄而又深切的美学效应。
最后两句，以“君”这一为自己热恋苦思之人，象征南方祖国，并表明自己正为祖国而动情歌唱；由于异乎寻常的心情激动，在洒泪悲歌的同时，竟不知不觉地将伴奏的琴弦拨断了。以“断弦”收结，不仅使人目睹其形，亦能令人耳闻其声，还能触发人们的绵缈思绪：弦虽断而弦上之音仍余韵袅袅，回荡空间，萦绕心头，……可谓涵不尽之幽思如在眼前。

庾信（513—581）字子山，小字兰成，北周时期人。南阳新野（今属河南）人。他以聪颖的资质，在梁这个南朝文学的全盛时代积累了很高的文学素养，又来到北方，以其沉痛的生活经历丰富了创作的内容，并多少接受了北方文化的某些因素，从而形成自己的独特面貌。
