译文
通往京城的道路上红尘飞扬，落日余晖中，芳草凄凄的长安古道上，满是游子行人。让人断魂的地方，游宦的人万里迢迢西征。天初晴，风和日丽，阳光明媚，和气暖心，抬望眼见那如花的乡村。花草树木掩映着道路，挥鞭之时已过长亭。愁从心生，悲伤地怀念在京城的情人，现在已远在千里之外了。还记得送别时，两个人手握着手相互凝望，她莲花般的红艳脸庞被盈盈泪水打湿，叫人刻骨铭心。
转而念及两人分离后，每到良辰美景，她一定凄冷清苦无比，辗转难眠，也许已然将我的归期屈指算好。情意绵绵无限，二人空有万般的追思回忆，真的不如尽量早归，好与日思夜慕的情人相会。绣帐帷幕里，二人同眠共枕，我将那别离后的万般思念和千般牵挂，对她一一诉说。
注释
引驾行：词牌名。此调有五十二字者，有一百字者，有一百二十五字者。五十二字词，即一百字词前段。一百二十五字词，亦就一百字词多五句也。晁补之一百字词名《长春》。柳永一百字词注“中吕调”，一百二十五字词注“仙吕调”。
红尘：飞扬的尘土，形容繁华热闹。紫陌：指京城的道路。
断魂：灵魂从肉体离散,指爱得很深或十分苦恼、哀伤。迢迢：形容遥远。
韶光：美好的春光。
和气：清和的空气。
隐映：指路被草木隐蔽掩映。
长亭：古时每隔十里设在路旁的亭舍，常用作行人休憩和饯别之处。
凤城：据传，秦穆公有女名弄玉，能吹箫引凤，凤凰曾降落京城，遂京城又名“丹凤城”。后常以“凤城“称呼京城。
行行：行而又行。《古诗十九首》：“行行重行行，与君共别离。”
莲脸：比喻女子的脸容如莲花一般红艳娇媚。盈盈：形容泪水清澈晶莹。
消凝：销魂凝神，形容辗转思念。
花朝月夕：良辰美景。
耿耿：烦躁不安貌。《诗经·邶风·柏舟》：“耿耿不寐，如有隐忧。”
萦：牵绊。
争如：怎如。倾城：指绝世美女，此处指心上人。汉李延年歌诗：“北方有佳人，绝世而独立。一顾倾人城，再顾倾人国。宁不知倾城与倾国？佳人难再得。”

这首《引驾行》写的是柳永自己对远别情人的思念之苦。

引驾行·红尘紫陌鉴赏
这首《引驾行》是柳永创长调慢词的一个范例。
全词共一百二十五字，以平叙为主，层次多变化，注重从不同角度展现抒情主人公的内心世界，对后世创作长调慢词者有很大的启发。
上片极尽铺叙之能事，先以一组排句对旅途中的客观物景，大肆进行铺写涂抹。这组排句均以一个三字句托上两个四字对句，着意加以渲染。“红尘紫陌，斜阳暮草”，描绘当时的长安道说的是场所。
“韶光明媚，轻烟淡薄”，描绘当时的天气氛围。接着，人物登场，“迢迢匹马西征”、“摇鞭时过长亭”，谓主人公正旅行，“离人”、“匹马”，“断魂”、“迢迢”，都带感情色彩，让人觉得主人公的这次旅行，并不那么愉快，再与此时此地的大好时光相对照，则更加烘托出这次旅行，是多么令人难堪，使人生愁。于是，抒情主人公很自然地兴起对于“凤城仙子”的思忆。“别来千里重行行”说的是漫长的旅行途中，有万千情事可以思忆，但令人难忘的还是即将踏上征途的那一时刻，俩人执手相看，那脸上水盈盈的双眼，永远印脑际。头一组排句与以下的思忆，布局巧妙，写的是现的景况，铺叙中穿插回忆，已将主人公旅途中的愁思表现得淋漓尽致。
下片转换角度，述说对方的相思苦情，并且进一步设想将来相见的情景。“花朝回夕，最苦冷落银屏。”几句说的是主人公设想：离别之后，每逢花朝月夕，她必定分外感到冷落，夜夜无眠，说不定她已经算好了我回归的日程。对方的相思苦情，这是想象中的事，但写得十分逼真，虚实难辨。这时候，仿佛她就自己的眼前。接着，主人公转而想到：这千万般的思忆，不管是我想念她，还是她想念我，全都是空的，怎比得上及早返回，与她相见，那才是实的。“争”，同“怎”。那时候，“向绣帏、深处并枕，说如此牵情。”抒情主人公将向她从头细细述说，离别之后，他是如何如何地思念着她。幻想中，作者既描绘了她的相思苦情，又写出彼此述说相思的情景，深切而生动。
这首词的上片写的是抒情主人公旅途中忆起“凤城仙子”，实景实情实写；下片描写对方的相思，虚者实写。上下片合起来，说的就是“相思”二字。全词铺叙、言情，有时间的推移，也有场景的变换，所抒之情饱满生动。

柳永，（约987年—约1053年）北宋著名词人，婉约派代表人物。汉族，崇安（今福建武夷山）人，原名三变，字景庄，后改名永，字耆卿，排行第七，又称柳七。宋仁宗朝进士，官至屯田员外郎，故世称柳屯田。他自称“奉旨填词柳三变”，以毕生精力作词，并以“白衣卿相”自诩。其词多描绘城市风光和歌妓生活，尤长于抒写羁旅行役之情，创作慢词独多。铺叙刻画，情景交融，语言通俗，音律谐婉，在当时流传极其广泛，人称“凡有井水饮处，皆能歌柳词”，婉约派最具代表性的人物之一，对宋词的发展有重大影响，代表作 《雨霖铃》《八声甘州》。
