译文
敲响铜鼓赛神来，满庭都是幡旗，还有华盖徘徊。神来去时疾鼓如风雷，一阵阵卷过山村水寨，吹开如烟的浓雾，露出楚山如画的丰采。
耳边还响着离别时的橹声欸乃，声声震颤着空寂的愁怀。姣美的容颜在惆怅里消瘦，淡淡的妆粉画出深深的怨哀。看青青麦田里春燕双双飞又落，卷起珠帘，空对楼阁，愁情满怀。
注释
河渎神：唐教坊曲名，后用为词牌名。双调四十九字。花庵《唐宋诸贤绝妙词选》云：“唐词多缘题,所赋《河渎神》则咏祠庙。”
铜鼓：古代南方少数民族的乐器，据说是由用作炊具的铜釜发展而成，体形如坐墩，中空，满鼓皆有细花纹，四角有小蟾蜍，两人抬着走，击之声如擂鼓。赛神：谓设祭酬神，又称“赛会”。唐代风俗，在神诞生之日，具备仪仗、金鼓、杂戏等，迎神出庙，周游街巷。
幡（fān）盖：供神佛所用的幢幡伞盖之类。幡，一种窄长的旗子，垂直悬挂。盖，伞盖，指一种长柄圆顶、伞面外缘垂有流苏的仪仗物。裴回：同“徘徊”。
浦：水滨。风雷：形容迎神之车马声如风雷震荡。
艣（lǔ）声：离别时船桨击水的声音。艣：大船桨，用人摇动而拨水，使船前进。
玉容：如花似玉之容貌，借指美女。妆薄：指容妆淡褪。
青麦：麦青时节，约夏历三月，已近暮春。落落：形容燕子飞行悠然自在的样子。一说众多貌。
珠阁：华丽的楼阁。珠，一作“朱”。“卷帘愁对珠阁”应理解为在珠楼中卷帘愁对帘外春色。

河渎神·铜鼓赛神来鉴赏
这首词抒写的是江南民间迎神赛舞的习俗与男女别离容易会面难的情思。上片初看是就题写赛神会的盛况：山村江浦，铜鼓声声，幡盖阵阵，车驰风雪，热闹非凡。赛会一过，烟开云散，楚山历历，霎时间热闹不再，留给人们的是空寂与清冷。这是缘题而写，以赛神会的两种场景，衬托别情离恨之凄楚。虽是缘题而写，却别有深意：以赛会的两个场面，喻神之来去自由，反衬出人别易会难，去而不归。
如果说上片是从旁以横笔铺写的，下片则是中锋纵笔，抒写人情。“离别”句承上片末句情绪，追忆兰舟送别的苦况：艣声似也因惜别而萧索，衬托别情难耐；“玉容”句写女主人公因离别而内心惆怅，妆容消瘦。末二句写她深感聚首不易，后会难期，怀远之时，卷帘只有空阁相对。这里转而写景，离别时正是暮春三月，麦草青青，紫燕双飞，更使她触景伤怀，愁怨倍增。这是典型的以乐景写哀情，其情更哀。
这首词最大的特色在于，分别营造了两个截然相反的场景，热闹的赛神场面与冷落空寂的女子闺阁，两者造成大起大落的对比，更好地渲染离愁别苦，也给读者以强烈的心理冲击。

温庭筠（约812—866）唐代诗人、词人。本名岐，字飞卿，太原祁（今山西祁县东南）人。富有天才，文思敏捷，每入试，押官韵，八叉手而成八韵，所以也有“温八叉”之称。然恃才不羁，又好讥刺权贵，多犯忌讳，取憎于时，故屡举进士不第，长被贬抑，终生不得志。官终国子助教。精通音律。工诗，与李商隐齐名，时称“温李”。其诗辞藻华丽，秾艳精致，内容多写闺情。其词艺术成就在晚唐诸词人之上，为“花间派”首要词人，对词的发展影响较大。在词史上，与韦庄齐名，并称“温韦”。存词七十余首。后人辑有《温飞卿集》及《金奁集》。
