所从神且武，焉得久劳师。
相公征关右，赫怒震天威。
一举灭獯虏，再举服羌夷。
西收边地贼，忽若俯拾遗。
陈赏越丘山，酒肉逾川坻。
军中多饫饶，人马皆溢肥。
徒行兼乘还，空出有余资。
拓地三千里，往返速若飞。
歌舞入邺城，所愿获无违。
昼日处大朝，日暮薄言归。
外参时明政，内不废家私。
禽兽惮为牺，良苗实已挥。
窃慕负鼎翁，愿厉朽钝姿。
不能效沮溺，相随把锄犂。
孰览夫子诗，信知所言非。
从军诗五首·其一译文及注释
译文
从军有苦有乐，要看随谁去出征。
跟随智勇双全的主帅，哪里会有持久的战争。
我们主公征伐关西地，盛怒下奋起天朝威风。
头一次降服那里部族，二次又迫使羌兵投诚。
西征用兵神速，取胜像弯腰拾取东西一样容易。
犒赏丰盛，赏品堆积如山，酒肉漫过河流
军营里官兵酒足饭饱，人马更加壮实和勇猛。
徒步出征凯旋乘马归，去时空空回来财物丰。
开拓关西三千里地盘，往返神速犹如鸟飞腾。
载歌载舞胜利回邺都，原有誓愿大功已告成。
白天大会群臣同庆贺，傍晚兴高采烈回家中。
朝廷上参谋清明政治，回家里料理家事繁荣。
禽兽怕做牺牲自断尾，我如良苗茁壮沐春风。
虽然力量有限，但是愿以伊尹为榜样，刻苦自勉为国尽力。
不能学习长沮与桀溺，相互追随隐退将地耕。
仔细阅读孔子隐居诗，确知夫子主张行不通。
注释
苦乐：《史记·李将军列传》载：程不识与李广俱戍边，二人治军严简不同，程军击刁斗、李军则不击。不识曰，“李广军极简易”，士卒“咸乐为之死”。
从：跟随。
神：神机妙算，谓有韬略。武：勇敢。神且武：意为智勇双全。
劳师：让部队去打仗。
相公：指曹操，时任汉丞相，故称。 关右：古地名，即函谷关以西之地，古人以西为右。曹操在建安二十年（215）三月率兵出关征讨张鲁等割据势力。
赫（hè）怒：勃然震怒。 天威：天朝军威。
獯（xūn）虏：对猃狁的蔑称。猃狁（xiǎn yǔn），中国古代的少数民族，分布在陕、甘北部及内蒙古西部。此指曹操于建安二十年（215）龚屠氐（dī）王窦茂以下万余人之事。氐又称西戎，为猃狁的一支。
羌夷：对羌族的蔑称。此指建安二十年（215）九月巴族七姓夷王朴胡等举巴夷及賨（cóng）民归附曹操一事。
边地贼：指张鲁、韩遂等边关割据势力。此指西平、金城诸将麴演、蒋石等共斩叛将韩遂以献以及张鲁投降之事。
忽：犹如，好像。俯：低下头。 拾遗：拾取东西。这里喻容易。
陈：陈列。 赏：赏赐。
逾：超过。 川：河。 坻（chí）：水中的高地。
饫（yù）饶：饱食、富裕。
溢：同“益”，更加。溢肥，指兵强马壮。
徒行：步行。 兼乘：两乘、两匹战马。
余资：丰裕的财物。
拓地：指通过战争而占领地盘。
邺城：古都邑名，在今河北临漳西南邺镇一带。建安十八年（123）曹操封魏王，定都于此。
所愿”句：所期待的都实现了，没有事与愿违。
昼日：白天。昼，《文选》作“尽”。 大朝：天子大会诸侯群臣。
薄言：发语词。
惮（dàn）：怕，畏惧。牺：古代用来祭祀的牲畜。为牺，意谓被捕捉杀死。
良苗：指庄稼。实：所结的果实。挥：摇动。
窃：私下。负鼎翁：指殷商时贤相伊尹。传说伊尹善于烹调，尝负鼎求见商汤。
厉：同“砺”，本指磨刀石，此为磨砺的意思。朽钝姿：朽木、钝刀般的资质，为王粲自谦之词。姿：同“资”。
效：效仿，学习。沮（jǔ）溺：指长沮、桀溺，是春秋时的两位隐士。
把：拿着。把锄犂：指耕种土地。犂（lí）：同“犁”。
孰：同“熟”。孰览：仔细观看。夫子：指孔子。
所言：指孔子主张归隐之言。
