译文
清静的夜里坐在明月下，听着幽人卢先生弹奏起古琴。
忽然听到《悲风》的曲调，又好像是《寒松》的声音。
《白雪》的指法使您纤手忙乱，《绿水》的音节确实让人养性清心。
可惜钟子期早已死去，世上再也找不到那样的知音。
注释
闲夜坐明月，一作“闲坐夜明月”。
释居月《琴曲谱录》有《悲风操》、《寒松操》、《白雪操》。《白帖》：《阳春》、《白雪》、《绿水》、《悲风》、《幽兰》、《别鹤》，并琴曲名。
钟期：指钟子期。《列子·汤问》说，俞伯牙善于弹琴，钟子期善于听琴。俞伯牙弹琴，志在高山，钟子期说：“善哉，峨峨兮若泰山。”志在流水，钟子期说：“善哉，洋洋兮若江河。”俞伯牙要表达的内容，钟于期都能听出来。
《风俗通》：俞伯牙方鼓琴，钟子期听之，而意在高山，子期曰：“善哉乎！巍巍若泰山。”顷之间，而意在流水，子期曰：“善哉乎！汤汤若江河。”子期死，伯牙破琴绝弦，终身不复鼓，以世无足为知音者也。

月夜听卢子顺弹琴鉴赏
“闲夜坐明月，幽人弹素琴”运用铺叙的手法，描绘一幅夜里闲坐、明月当空、静听幽人弹素琴的落寞景致，为下文“世上无知音”的孤寂惆怅之情作铺垫，埋伏笔。
“忽闻悲风调，宛若寒松吟”用借喻手法：忽闻“悲声调”，宛若“寒松吟”，喧染悲凉的氛围，把加深悲愁的情愫活灵活现地展示在读者面前。
“白雪乱纤手，绿水清虚心”用拟人手法：白雪乱“纤手”，绿水“清虚心”，便于作者尽情发挥，以情景交融的方式，把作者知音难觅的孤寂真情实感融入诗中，进而达到引人入胜之效果。
“钟期久已没，世上无知音”此句借用“钟子期”、“俞伯牙”典故喻己，紧扣上文，首尾呼应，使结构更为严谨，表达出诗人知音难觅的孤寂落寞之情感。
诗中《悲风》、《寒松》、《白雪》、《绿水》都是古曲名，意在描写隐士卢子顺弹琴的高超的艺术水平，进而发出“钟期久已没，世上无知音”的感叹。
这首诗写听幽人弹琴，借以慨叹世无知音。思想情绪未免有些消极，但其中也必定饱含着诗人一生坎坷、历尽艰难的辛酸痛苦。一首诗中列出四首琴曲名来，可见李白对琴道是很熟悉的。其中写《渌水》时，言其作用可以“清虚心”，这是李白的一个重要音乐观点。其所以如此，恐与李白多受老庄思想影响有密切关系。
从写作上看，首写弹琴，中写琴曲，末写慨叹。在写琴曲时，诗人以《寒松吟》比《悲风》，虽是以琴曲比琴曲，却又使人能从曲名上想到它们之间的必然联系，因为“悲”与“寒”皆冷色字，感情色彩是一致的，“风”与“松”则使人想到松涛，并进而想到乐音的特色。又琴曲有《风入松》，传为嵇康所作，“风”与“松”相连，可使人想起这一琴曲。此可见诗人的比喻是如何贴切！再者，“《白雪》乱纤手”一句，诗人不仅以一“乱”字，写出弹琴动作的特点，而且从《白雪》还可使人想到纤手的白嫩，这样的配词，真是妙不可言！

李白（701年－762年），字太白，号青莲居士，唐朝浪漫主义诗人，被后人誉为“诗仙”。祖籍陇西成纪(待考)，出生于西域碎叶城，4岁再随父迁至剑南道绵州。李白存世诗文千余篇，有《李太白集》传世。762年病逝，享年61岁。其墓在今安徽当涂，四川江油、湖北安陆有纪念馆。
