译文
妇女头上的金钗摇动春燕斜戴着，树梢生出了嫩叶。水塘因春天来了开始泛起了波浪，气温因春天来了也开始回升。春天开垦土地用来耕作的牛儿也开始耕作了，春天到来了。
注释
清江引：曲牌名。南曲属仙吕入双调；北曲又叫《江儿水》，属双调。五句。字数定格为七、五、五、五、七。多用为小令。
金钗：古代妇女的一种头饰。春燕：旧俗，立春日妇女皆剪彩纸为燕，并金钗戴于头上，盛装出游。
木杪（miǎo）：树梢。
火候：本指烹煮食物的火功。这里指气候温度。
土牛儿：即春牛。古代每逢立春前一日有迎春仪式，由人扮神，鞭土牛，地方官行香主礼，以劝农耕，谓“打春”，象征春耕开始。

清江引·立春创作背景
这首小令是贯云石一次赴宴时的应酬之作，因正值立春，为飨宾客，他以“金”“木”“水”“火”“土”为每句第一个字，写下这首清新自然、充满生活气息的小令。

清江引·立春鉴赏
这是一支咏春的小令。描写立春节气的到来，万物欣荣，生机盎然的景象。全曲五句，写了春燕、春树、春水、气候和民俗。这些都是有着春天典型特点的五种事物。
第一句写人们游春时的装束。虽然他只写了妇女的头饰，但就从这一点是很难能反映出当时人们在游春时对装束的讲究。“春燕”是古代妇女立春这一天必戴的头饰。据《岁时广记》卷八引《荆楚岁时记》记载：“立春日悉剪彩为燕以戴之，王沂公《春帖子》云：‘彩燕迎春入鬓飞，轻寒未放金缕衣。’又欧阳永叔云：‘不惊树里禽初变，共喜钗头燕已来。’郑毅夫云：‘汉殿斗簪双彩燕，并知春色上钗头。’皆春日帖子句也。”妇女头上的金钗也有做成燕形的叫“燕钗”。也有用金银纸或绢帛剪成燕形戴在发上称为“幡胜”，也可互相赠送，这种风俗唐宋时就已有了。燕属玄鸟，春分而来，秋分而去。所以燕子是春天的像征。这句虽然是写妇女的头饰，但作者用了“影摇”和“斜”两个词形容妇女们轻盈、摇曳的步态，“斜”字让春燕真的要随着春风飞起来了。这两个词让这句顿生生机活了起来。
第二句描写春天的草木。“木杪生春叶”写草木的欣欣向荣。古人有“春到草木知”的名句，树梢上长出了嫩叶，这一笔写出了春的活力。第三句写春水，春天来了，春风吹化了冰雪，让湖面荡起碧波。中唐时期白居易曾有《忆江南》词，其中有“日出江花红胜火，春来江水绿如蓝”的佳句。白居易以初升的红日和碧绿如蓝的湖水形容春天。贯云石也用了同样的构思描写春天，先写了湖水马上就写日出。第四句写了和熙日光温暖宜人。“火候春初热”是形容气候渐暖了，火候指气温。最后一句写了古代迎春的仪式。
这首小令以游春的风俗始，又以打春的风俗止，首尾呼应，写出了人们除旧迎新的喜悦心情。不仅如此，令中还包含着有趣的文字游戏，此曲用的是嵌字格，据明蒋一葵《尧山堂外记》记载：“贯酸斋尝赴所亲宴，时正立春，座客以《清江引》请赋，且限‘金、木、水、火、土’五字冠于每句之首，句中各用春’，酸斋即题.....满座绝倒。”不仅如此，而且此令格律甚严，三四句对仗。如此严格，没有深厚的艺术功底是写不出来的。贯云石是维吾尔族人，他对汉文化有如此深厚的功力，这是值得中华文学史上书写一笔的。

贯云石(1286～1324) 元代散曲作家。字浮岑，号成斋，疏仙，酸斋。出身高昌回鹘畏吾人贵胄，祖父阿里海涯为元朝开国大将。原名小云石海涯，因父名贯只哥，即以贯为姓。自号酸斋。初因父荫袭为两淮万户府达鲁花赤，让爵于弟，北上从姚燧学。仁宗时拜翰林侍读学士、中奉大夫，知制诰同修国史。不久称疾辞官，隐于杭州一带，改名“易服”，在钱塘卖药为生，自号“芦花道人”。今人任讷将他的散曲与自号“甜斋”。
