译文
倚着雕花的窗栏，掀开锦绣的帐帘，看着潇湘的群雁向北飞去，期盼的书信却仍未到来，相思的人儿愁得肠断。不知出征的人何时才能归来？海棠的花儿已在相思中凋谢了，霏霏的雨好似泪涟涟。
注释
遐方怨：原唐教坊曲名，后用为词牌名。此调有单调、双调两体。单调者始于温庭筠，三十二字，七句四平韵。
绣槛：雕绘华美的栏杆。槛，栏杆。
断肠：一作“肠断”。潇湘：两条水名。
霏霏：雨纷飞的样子。
遐方怨·凭绣槛创作背景
温庭筠以女性为题材的诗词有七十余首，此词即为其中之一。此词是为闺中女子代言，意在表现女子对远征之男子的思念。根据词意，女子当居南方潇湘之地，男子则远戍北边；时间在春天。

遐方怨·凭绣槛鉴赏
这首词起二句一“凭”一“解”，连续两个动词，写出女主人公有所思怀而心绪不宁。按照词意，顺序应为“解罗帷，凭绣槛”，这里使用逆挽法，凸显女子凭栏怀念、盼望GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>征人的形象，并且“凭”“解”两个动作，既揭示出女子内心的不安，也为后面描写她的所见所感张本。接着二句，先写思妇失落，再写潇湘雁飞，以春雁北飞反衬人情。“未得君书”为凭栏解帷之由。“断肠”二字，一气直下，也是凭栏时所见所感：潇湘春雁，按时归去，人不如鸟，归期渺茫。“不知”句一问，把女子的企盼引向无法知晓的茫然，直接抒发其内心的愁苦。末二句又将词意宕开，写暮春时节，海棠花谢，细雨霏霏，构成凄楚迷蒙的境界，以景结情，将女主人公无限遐思织入海棠花谢雨蒙蒙之中，将她伤春感怀、念远思人的痛楚情绪表现得更加深沉含蓄。
此词不仅勾勒出一幅思妇凭栏远望的图景，而且通过景物描写，十分细腻而含蓄地道出了她无限惆怅的情绪。语句比较朴质，写得饶有情味。

温庭筠（约812—866）唐代诗人、词人。本名岐，字飞卿，太原祁（今山西祁县东南）人。富有天才，文思敏捷，每入试，押官韵，八叉手而成八韵，所以也有“温八叉”之称。然恃才不羁，又好讥刺权贵，多犯忌讳，取憎于时，故屡举进士不第，长被贬抑，终生不得志。官终国子助教。精通音律。工诗，与李商隐齐名，时称“温李”。其诗辞藻华丽，秾艳精致，内容多写闺情。其词艺术成就在晚唐诸词人之上，为“花间派”首要词人，对词的发展影响较大。在词史上，与韦庄齐名，并称“温韦”。存词七十余首。后人辑有《温飞卿集》及《金奁集》。
