译文
我正在机上织锦，耳边传来黄莺的阵阵鸣叫声，让我想起远在塞外的丈夫，不禁停下梭子，泪流满面。
虽然如今已经是阳春三月，但塞外依然是那样荒凉萧条，纵然有杨柳树也未发新叶，征人还是感觉不到春天的来临。
注释
杨柳枝：词牌名。又作“杨柳”。
织锦：暗用前秦苏蕙织锦为回文璇玑图的典故。
塞门，一作“寒门”。
杨柳枝·织锦机边莺语频鉴赏
此词写闺思。首二句隐括李白名篇《乌夜啼》的诗意，谓女子在机上织锦，机边传来黄莺叫声，著一“频”字，足见鸣声此起彼伏，春光秾丽，句中虽未提杨柳，但“莺语频”三字，已可以想见此地杨柳千条万缕、藏莺飞絮的景象。织锦虽是叙事，同时暗用了前秦苏蕙的典故，点出女子相思。思妇织锦，本欲寄远，由于莺语频传，春光撩拨，只得停梭而流泪忆远。
后二句和首二句跳跃很大，由思妇而转到GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>征人，由柳密莺啼的内地而转到边塞，说塞上到了三月仍然是一片萧索，即使有杨柳而新叶未生，GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>征人也无从察觉到春天的降临。这里用王之涣《凉州词》句意而又更翻进了一层。思妇之可怜，不仅在于极度相思而不得与GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>征人团聚，还在于GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>征人连春天到来都无从察觉，更不可能遥知妻子的春思。这样比单从思妇一方着笔又多了一个侧面，使意境深化了。
此词主要运用比衬手法，在同一时间内展开空间的对比。它的画面组合，犹如电影蒙太奇，先是柳密莺啼、思妇停梭垂泪的特写，一晃间想起画外音，随着词的末二句，推出一幅绝塞征戍图，GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>征人面对着萧索的原野，对春天的来临茫然无知。两个镜头前后衔接所造成的对比，给人留下深刻而鲜明的印象。陈陶《陇西行》中有“可怜永定河边骨，尤是春闺梦里人”的诗句，也是采用两个方面进行对照，但刺激性很强，把问题明确地告诉读者，作者的情绪显得激切。温庭筠此词则是冷静客观地展开两幅画面，让读者自己慢慢地领会、思考，比较含蓄，这是温词风格的一种体现。
这首词口气和神情非常婉转，不像一般七言诗，但如与宋代的一些词相比，却又显得浑朴。这显示了诗到词的过渡状态的一种特征。

温庭筠（约812—866）唐代诗人、词人。本名岐，字飞卿，太原祁（今山西祁县东南）人。富有天才，文思敏捷，每入试，押官韵，八叉手而成八韵，所以也有“温八叉”之称。然恃才不羁，又好讥刺权贵，多犯忌讳，取憎于时，故屡举进士不第，长被贬抑，终生不得志。官终国子助教。精通音律。工诗，与李商隐齐名，时称“温李”。其诗辞藻华丽，秾艳精致，内容多写闺情。其词艺术成就在晚唐诸词人之上，为“花间派”首要词人，对词的发展影响较大。在词史上，与韦庄齐名，并称“温韦”。存词七十余首。后人辑有《温飞卿集》及《金奁集》。
