薄薄的云彩，飘浮在星空，把月亮遮住，又吐了出来；月光流动着，在我洁净的阶前，投下了一片阴影。
我与你分隔千里，明月照着我，也照着你，明月啊，你又怎知道，我每夜思恋的心情？

夜夜曲：属乐府杂曲歌辞，多描写思妇怨女的情怀。
流影：形容月光清柔流动。
夜夜曲鉴赏
夜色沉沉，明月皎皎，透进了窗户，女子满腹牢愁，无法排遣，只好把目光投向空中的月亮。她看的时间很长，品味得很细，只见到一片浮云遮没了月亮，云飘过去了，月亮又露了出来；月光的影子，洒在窗前阶上，移动着。前两句是借月写人。中国古代的宫怨、闺思诗总喜欢写月亮，似乎唯有月亮，才能理解与陪伴孤凄的女子，才能衬托女子思夫的苦思，如李白的《长门怨》说：“夜悬明镜秋天上，独照长门宫里人。”这首诗也信手拈出望月，来写女子心理。诗在写月时，又把笔墨凝聚在写云上。一个“吐”字用得很形象，杜甫诗有“四更山吐月”（《月》）句，写月亮从山后出现，欧阳修演化成从云中穿出，更使人感到新鲜，下句写月影也恰到好处。这就是传统的“烘云托月”法，云写得越好，月亮也就越有神采。
三、四句具体写怀人。自谢庄《月赋》写出“隔千里兮共明月”这一名句后，用望月写怀人的作品大致都写人虽然分隔千里万里，但同在这明月照耀下，彼此思念的心意相同。如唐钱起《裴迪书斋望月》：“今夕遥天末，清辉几处愁。”白居易《八月十五夜禁中寓直寄元四稹》：“三五夜中新月色，二千里外故人心。”这些，也就是后来苏轼《水调歌头》中“但愿人长久，千里共婵娟”的意思。欧阳修这首诗在写月后，故作转折，翻过一层，说这明月虽然照着相隔千里的我们，可你又何曾知道我每夜思念恋人的心；所思念的人，虽然同在月光照耀之下，又是否知道我的心呢？于是把思念之情更加深了一层，由一夜扩展到夜夜，同时把所思之人别离长久、没有音信的事也隐括其中，由爱、由思又透出了几分怨来。

欧阳修（1007－1072），字永叔，号醉翁，晚号“六一居士”。汉族，吉州永丰（今江西省永丰县）人，因吉州原属庐陵郡，以“庐陵欧阳修”自居。谥号文忠，世称欧阳文忠公。北宋政治家、文学家、史学家，与韩愈、柳宗元、王安石、苏洵、苏轼、苏辙、曾巩合称“唐宋八大家”。后人又将其与韩愈、柳宗元和苏轼合称“千古文章四大家”。
