译文
旷远原野上春光来得早，晴天下江上杨柳长满堤。
掸开尘埃生出嫩绿之色，拨开雪花可见柔软嫩芽。
碧玉似的柳芽还很短小，金黄色的柳丝尚未长齐。
冷风吹来杨柳摆弄腰肢，有如春闺人眉间生情意。
恐怕狂妄之人胡乱攀折，望引高雅之客心欢情迷。
初春的啼莺将要出幽谷，应当可借得一枝来栖息。
注释
原隰（xí）：广平与低湿之地。荑（tí）：初生的茅草芽。原隰荑绿柳：题出南朝宋谢灵运《从游京口北固应诏》诗：“原隰荑绿柳，墟囿散红桃。”
迥（jiǒng）野：指旷远的原野。韶（sháo）光：美好的时光。此指春光。⑶柳满堤：一作“映柳堤”。晴川：晴天下的江面。晋袁峤之《兰亭诗》之二：“四眺华林茂，俯仰晴川涣。”
拂尘：掸除尘埃。
柔荑：指柔软初生的白茅嫩芽。牙：指柳树的嫩芽。
缕：指柳丝。
寒吹：冷风。
春闺：女子的闺房。
⑽狂夫：无知妄为的人。
⑾逸客：超逸高雅的客人。
⑿新莺：初春的啼莺。
出谷：从幽谷出来。常喻指境遇好转或职位升迁。
一枝栖：比喻栖身于极小的地方。语出唐刘餗《隋唐嘉话》。

原隰荑绿柳创作背景
此诗《文苑英华》卷一八八编入“省试”类。明曾益撰，清顾予咸、顾嗣立补撰《温飞卿诗集笺注》卷九据《文苑英华》补入，注云：“此省试题也。”其创作时间不详。

温庭筠（约812—866）唐代诗人、词人。本名岐，字飞卿，太原祁（今山西祁县东南）人。富有天才，文思敏捷，每入试，押官韵，八叉手而成八韵，所以也有“温八叉”之称。然恃才不羁，又好讥刺权贵，多犯忌讳，取憎于时，故屡举进士不第，长被贬抑，终生不得志。官终国子助教。精通音律。工诗，与李商隐齐名，时称“温李”。其诗辞藻华丽，秾艳精致，内容多写闺情。其词艺术成就在晚唐诸词人之上，为“花间派”首要词人，对词的发展影响较大。在词史上，与韦庄齐名，并称“温韦”。存词七十余首。后人辑有《温飞卿集》及《金奁集》。
