译文
我要到汉水以东的地方去，宋常侍在杜陵北为我送行。
他也是宦游之人，无论是行者还是送行者，都是天涯漂泊，就像秋后随风飘荡的蓬草一样。
彼此都是两鬓如秋霜的白发之人了，衰老的容颜依仗酒力才变红。
今日离别之情固然令人难忘，但异日又将会有新的情景触动自己的相思之情。分手以后文章来源华夏酒报，我将会因为思念好友而不得安眠，得以听到静夜里的乌啼声夹杂着如泣如诉的夜风声。
注释
杜陵：长安东南的 县城。秦置杜县，汉宣帝筑陵于东原上，因名杜陵，杜陵北指长安。汉中在汉水东北，故名汉川东。
别宋常侍鉴赏
此诗是诗人离开长安前往汉中时写给前来送行的宋常侍的作品。
首二句总说送行之事，提出“游人”与“客”双方以及“杜陵北”与“汉川东”两地。“游人”，诗中指宋常侍。“客”，诗人自谓。点明了离别的地点。杜陵自繁华，汉水空悠悠，这两处地名在古诗里经常出现，其符号意义远超过了地理意义。宋常侍在长安为尹式饯行，离情别绪即由此生出。
三四句转而抒情。“去”者，说自己；“住”者，指宋常侍。当此分手之际，不作丈夫的壮词，也不为儿女的呢语，而是着眼于彼此共同的流寓者的身分，以“飘蓬”作比。蓬草秋后枯萎，随风而走。诗人将自己与对方比成蓬草，见出对对方的理解，同病相怜之意与羁旅飘泊之情，已尽含在这浅近而又动人的比喻之中。
五六句着眼于年龄带来的变化。“秋鬓”，迟暮之年的白发。秋鬓本白，遇秋霜而愈白，“衰颜”，衰老的容颜。衰颜本不红，倚仗酒力而始显红润。这两句写衰老之态，抒迟暮之感，含蓄地表现了依依惜别的情怀。
末两句写别后相思之意。“别有”即“另有”。此二字于言外见意，意谓今日此地之别离情景固然令人难忘，但异日又将会有新的情景触动自己的离情。诗人拟想，分手以后，自己将因念友而失眠，由失眠而得以听到静夜里的啼乌声、风声，而啼乌声、风声如泣如诉，又会加重自己对友人的思念之情。诗人寓情于景，以景结情，显得别有韵致，情味绵长。
这是一首早期律诗。全篇都是律句和律联，但前两联之间并后两联之间都失粘；三四句处于颔联的位置上，本该用对仗，却只是两句一意的十字句而并不构成流水对。该粘而不粘，该用对仗而不用，这些都是律诗在演进过程中留下的一些重要的迹象。

尹式（暂且不知～604）隋代河间（现属河北）人。博学能诗，少有令问。仁寿中，任汉王杨谅记室，王甚重之。仁寿四年（604），文帝死，杨谅起兵反对杨广失败，尹式自杀。其族人正卿、彦卿俱有俊才，名显于世。尹式原有文集，已失传，今存诗二首。
