兰交空怀思，琼树讵解渴。

译文
秋天的霜落了，江水变得寒冷，可枫叶仍然是绿色，还没有脱落。
游客在外，路途遥远难以到达目的地，加上寒冷的秋季，心情更加悲戚。
大江烟波渺渺，长天浮云掩蔽白日。在山峦密林间泊船，猿猴哀啼不绝，使人心惊。
中夜起看天上河汉旋转，下视大江潮水汹涌。凉风萧萧，流水呜鸣。
江浦沙滩干净如洗，明亮的海月，让人想拾取弄掇。怀念你，高洁的朋友，身如琼树，心如惠兰，如饥似渴。
让我们相互勉励，让沧洲的高洁之心不因年老而屈服社会现实。欣赏幽静的风景很自由自在，除你以外，还可以与谁豁开心胸交谈呢。
注释
元六林宗：詹锳谓即元丹丘。李白又有《秋日炼药院镊白发赠元六兄林宗)诗，其中有“投分三十载，荣枯同所欢”之句，可知元与李白为旧交。
川汜：水滨。
夜分：夜半。河汉：即银河。
溟涨：大海。
活活：流水声。
掇：拾取。
琼树：亦喻指友人。《古文苑》卷四李陵《赠别苏武》：“思得琼树枝，以解长渴饥。”
勖：勉励。
兴远：意兴高远。豁：抒发。

李白（701年－762年），字太白，号青莲居士，唐朝浪漫主义诗人，被后人誉为“诗仙”。祖籍陇西成纪(待考)，出生于西域碎叶城，4岁再随父迁至剑南道绵州。李白存世诗文千余篇，有《李太白集》传世。762年病逝，享年61岁。其墓在今安徽当涂，四川江油、湖北安陆有纪念馆。
