译文
浪迹天涯的孤客独倚栏干，面对着深秋中的凄风凋叶，更觉得寂寞惆怅。绵绵群山在淅沥的秋雨中泛出了青光，一只离群的孤雁在暮色苍茫中随着迅飞的流云拼力地挣扎奋飞。
百花凋零，惟有那秋菊逞强，显示出些许春天般的缤纷色彩。而我们却只能为那已消逝的美好年华举杯凭吊，饮一杯大白。暮天夕阳返照天空，倒挂着一缕美丽的彩虹，那是大海中的鲛人用泪水一梭梭编织的七彩鲛绡幻化而成的。
注释
玉楼春：据《词谱》载：“因顾敻词中有‘月照玉楼春漏促’，又有‘柳映玉楼春日晚’。五代欧阳炯词中有‘日照玉楼花似锦，楼上醉和春色寝’。又有‘春早玉楼烟雨夜’句，取为调名。”又名《木兰花》、《玉楼春令》、《西湖曲》、《呈纤手》、《东邻妙》、《春晓曲》、《惜春容》、《梦相亲》、《归风便》、《归朝欢令》、《转调木兰花》、《续渔歌》。双调，五十六字，上下片各四句三仄韵。
和吴见山韵：和韵，是用他人诗词所用的韵而作诗词。分用韵、依韵、次韵三种。陆游说：“古时有唱有和，有杂拟追和之类，而无和韵者。唐始有用韵，谓同用此韵；后有依韵，然不以次；后有次韵。自元（稹）、白(居易)至皮（日休）、陆（龟蒙），其体乃全。”吴见山，梦窗词友，常有唱酬相和。《梦窗词》中，题其名的即有六首，而和词或用其原韵而作的竟有五首之多。
大白：酒名。
玉楼春·和吴见山韵鉴赏
“阑干”两句，写出词人的心情。此言自己是一个四处飘泊的天涯孤客，如今独倚在栏干旁，面对着深秋中的凄风凋叶，那么心中的阴影就会显得更加浓厚，寂寞之情也会显得更深。此即情与景合也。所谓“离人心上秋”，秋景增愁情矣。“千山”两句，景中显情。绵绵群山在秋雨淅沥之中泛出了青光，此是指雨中山上的常青树林；而在天空中词人（天涯客）却见到，有一只离群的孤雁在暮色苍茫中随着迅飞的流云在拼力地挣扎着奋飞。这既是写实景，也是词人（天涯客）对所处的恶劣环境与自身的悲苦命运的一种写照。上片借景寄情。
“霜花”两句，叹时光迅逝。“霜花”，指秋菊，黄巢《咏菊》诗中即有“待到秋来九月八，我花开后百花杀。冲天香阵透长安，满城尽披黄金甲。”此处是说：秋终冬近之时，百花凋零，惟有那秋菊逞强，一枝傲霜，显示出了春天般的缤纷色彩。然韶华易逝，我们（指词人与吴见山）也已临近了暮年，但却犹各自为了生计而奔波在名利场中。因此让我们且为这已经消逝的美好年华而举杯凭吊，浮一大白吧。“海烟”两句，写景寄情。此言暮天夕阳返照天空，显出来半截美丽的彩虹（南人俗名为“冲”）。词人见之更把它联想成是：大海中的鲛人用泪水一梭梭编织而成的七彩鲛绡化成的景象。此既是写景，也有一种“烈士暮年，壮心不已”的感叹在。下片也是托物寄情。

吴文英（约1200～1260），字君特，号梦窗，晚年又号觉翁，四明（今浙江宁波）人。原出翁姓，后出嗣吴氏。与贾似道友善。有《梦窗词集》一部，存词三百四十余首，分四卷本与一卷本。其词作数量丰沃，风格雅致，多酬答、伤时与忆悼之作，号“词中李商隐”。而后世品评却甚有争论。
