译文
我这个人于世上或走或止都无地可依，现在可以往来相访的就只有你一个人了。
今天我遇到了你，席间又有好酒，酒逢知已，真可以一醉几个月，把身外的一切都可忘掉，视之如浮云一样了。
由于我和明府情怀兴奋融洽，所以一直饮到霜白风清、钟漏俱残，还要继续饮下去。
天亮临行时似携余兴而走，虽然已经分别，犹觉得尚未离开同伴一样。
注释
临津：古县名，故址在今江苏宜兴县西北五十里处。明府：汉代对郡守的尊称，唐代亦称县令为明府，郑明府是杜审言同郡的僚友，其名字不详。
行止：行进，退止，即进退出处之意，无地没有着落，意即进退失据或进退维谷。
独：唯有，君古时对人的尊称，这里指郑明府。
累：连续，经历。月：岁月。
浮云：飘浮的云彩。
宵：夜。
漏：名词，即铜壶滴潘，古代计时之器。
坐：因，由于。携：执持，带着。
离群：离开朋友、伙伴。

秋夜宴临津郑明府宅创作背景
唐永昌元年（689年）前后，杜审言在江阴任县丞、县尉等职时，应临津县郑明府之邀，在一个秋日的夜宴上，即兴抒怀，写下了这首诗。

秋夜宴临津郑明府宅鉴赏
诗以感叹身世写起，率直深沉。“行止皆无地”，是极言其处境困厄的。在此失路艰虞的情况下，“招寻独有君”，充分表达了诗人对郑明府感激赞美之情意。言外之意就是说郑明府是当时唯一的能以恩德相结的知己，以声气相求的知音。诗人在赞美郑明府的同时也流露着心满意足的情绪，为全诗创制了友好愉悦的气氛。这联诗采用的是欲扬先抑的手法，将一个普通的延请，写得激荡人心，意味深长。
“酒中堪累月，身外即浮云”，是诗人即席产生了对酒当歌，人生几何的感慨，也是诗人多年来郁郁不得志的一种表现。酒可以解忧，酒可以消愁，人在醉中好度岁月，这就表明诗人胸中有块垒之不平。“身外即浮云”，是说一身之外，荣名利禄都像过眼烟云，不值得去追求。这貌似旷达的言词的背后，未免不含有几分愤懑之情。
诗没有直接写“琴樽横宴席”等的热烈场面，但通过“露自宵钟彻，风清晓漏闻”的景物描写，已侧面表明他们是通宵达旦欢宴的。“露白”，可见有月华高照。在这月明风清之秋夜，朋友们饮酒赋诗，不知不觉中时间过得很快，夜里清晰的钟声催人，拂晓滴嗒的漏声促人。天下没有不散的筵席，一夜过去了，朋友们终于要分手了。
在通宵达旦的欢宴之后，正置与朋友告别之际，诗人不同一般，没有一句留恋惜别的絮语，却说：“坐携余兴往，还似未离群”，表明友谊的深长，友谊的力量，使他这个“行止皆无地”的人将不会再感到孤单，精神上得到很大的慰藉，实际上是又一次对郑明府的赞扬。

杜审言（约645-708），字必简，汉族，中国唐朝襄州襄阳人，是大诗人杜甫的祖父。唐高宗咸亨进士，唐中宗时，因与张易之兄弟交往，被流放峰州（今越南越池东南）。曾任隰城尉、洛阳丞等小官，累官修文馆直学士，少与李峤、崔融、苏味道齐名，称“文章四友”，是唐代“近体诗”的奠基人之一，作品多朴素自然。其五言律诗，格律谨严。
