自云绕山山路幽深，禅门弟子远来相寻。
僧熟路踏苍苔归寺，鹿在林踩红叶有声。
高阁燃清香生静境，夜堂鸣疏磬发禅心。

注释
①东峰弟子：犹言东山弟子，即禅门弟子。禅宗四祖道信、五祖弘忍俱住黄梅东山，引接学人，故称东山法门。
②南能：指禅宗南宗惠能六祖。
宿云际寺鉴赏
温飞卿本出身名门，又颇有才气，但由于他恃才逞气，喜讥刺权贵又不受羁束，一生坎坷，漂泊潦倒。在他的一生中，喜与禅僧来往，诗集中有不少这类诗作。温庭筠曾任襄阳巡官，并曾在江淮一带长期游处，使他颇受南宗禅的影响。在广东罗定县西南有云际山，该诗中所写之云际寺或坐落于该山之上。云际寺里有一位僧人，温庭筠以前曾结识过。分手之后，这位僧人回到了云际寺。或许是两人有深契，这次，温庭筠以一名禅门弟子的身份远远地寻他而来。尽管他已走了很远的路程、尽管他已爬了很高的山峰，但眼前的一幅幅美丽淡雅而又含蕴深远的图画，使他耳目一新、精神为之一振。苍苔上本没有路，但寺僧熟悉这里的一切，他踏着苍苔归去。落叶本是无声，但由于山林静谧，小鹿嬉闹踏着落叶发出了“沙沙”响声。这两个细节写出了寺僧、小鹿在这座寂静的山林里的自在。以一种自然的融洽为背景，作者写禅僧的参禅生涯：燃起清香、鸣起疏磬，由此而进入清静的禅境。见到这一切，作者不由将久不见面的这位南方禅师比作惠能。不过，该诗所写的是温庭筠这位才子眼中的禅僧，他与南宗慧能的禅风是有区别的。

温庭筠（约812—866）唐代诗人、词人。本名岐，字飞卿，太原祁（今山西祁县东南）人。富有天才，文思敏捷，每入试，押官韵，八叉手而成八韵，所以也有“温八叉”之称。然恃才不羁，又好讥刺权贵，多犯忌讳，取憎于时，故屡举进士不第，长被贬抑，终生不得志。官终国子助教。精通音律。工诗，与李商隐齐名，时称“温李”。其诗辞藻华丽，秾艳精致，内容多写闺情。其词艺术成就在晚唐诸词人之上，为“花间派”首要词人，对词的发展影响较大。在词史上，与韦庄齐名，并称“温韦”。存词七十余首。后人辑有《温飞卿集》及《金奁集》。
