译文
韩魏多有轻生重义、为知己者死的游侠，洒脱不拘留下名利。
少年游侠者重然诺、好结交，各负凌云之志。
然而一言九鼎，一旦结交，即千里相会。
绿带缠绕在如月的弓弦上，金丝绦络住如云的马辔头。
伍子胥过着流亡乞食的生活，高渐离为欲前去刺杀秦王的荆轲击筑送行。
张骞出使西域，穷河源，游侠儿亦如博望侯怀抱赴边立功之志。
只要君王一垂顾，肝脑涂地、流血野草也在所不辞，都会义无反顾地奔赴战场。
刀光剑影映照着游侠儿矫健的身影，强弓劲弩尽显少年侠士的身手。
天山无论是冬日夏日都会飞雪，交河南北向流淌着。
云从漠北边塞升起，雁门关的秋日草木早已凋零。
游侠为知己者死，不是为自己谋名利。
注释
声利：名利。
绿沉：浓绿色。
吹箫入吴市：过着流亡乞食的生活。伍子胥为报父兄之仇，从楚国逃到吴国，曾在吴国吹箫乞食。
击筑游燕肆：荆轲欲前去刺杀秦王，其友高渐离在易水击筑为他送行。
寻缘博望：指汉代的张骞，汉武帝命其穷黄河之源，因出使西域。
陇头：陇山，六盘山南段的别称。
龙沙：河北喜峰口外卢龙山后的大漠，后泛指漠北边塞之地。
雁门：长城上重要的关隘雁门关，在山西代县北部。

结客少年场行创作背景
《结客少年场行》是写游侠题材的乐府旧题。古代许多文人都具有任侠使气的情怀，运用此乐府诗题写下了许多荡气回肠的诗篇。但是比较而言，鲍照诗多市侩气，李白也多轻浮气；刘孝威诗多谄媚气，刘绍安诗多名利气，卢照邻诗气脉偏滞，写得比较沉着浑雅的当数虞世南诗。

结客少年场行鉴赏
这首诗发端二句已概全篇之旨，“韩魏多奇节，倜傥遗声利”，以下均围绕“多奇节”处而展开。承接此二句，以下八句历叙少年游侠者的精神品格与豪荡气魄。“绿沉明月弦，金络浮云辔”，此十字着重从形象上描绘少年侠士潇洒倜傥的飒爽英姿。“吹箫入吴市，击筑游燕肆”，伍子胥有经文纬武之才，因楚平王听信谗言杀害伍奢与伍尚，他逃奔吴国，欲借外力以报杀父兄之仇。伍子胥在吴都梅里（即今无锡梅村），举目无亲，衣食无着，被迫吹起斑竹箫管，在市中乞食，后得公子光的赏识，谋刺王僚，成就大业。高渐离与荆轲为友，善击筑，“荆轲嗜酒，日与狗屠及高渐离饮于燕市，酒酣以往，高渐离击筑，荆轲和而歌于市中，相乐也，已而相泣，旁若无人者”（《史记·刺客列传》）。后燕亡，高渐离为秦王击筑，因在筑中置铅以伺机击秦王，未果被害。游侠之人并非久居人上，即使沉沦下僚之时，胸中仍怀一股不可磨灭之气。这段奇气促其忍辱负重，完成自己重然诺的历史使命。
下面以博望侯张骞的典故轻轻地转到了游侠儿慷慨立边功的主题上来，继写其在战场上杀敌报国的“奇节”。张骞出使西域，穷河源，直至昆仑山下，“大宛之迹，元因博望；始究河源，旋窥海上”（《史记·大宛列传》）。其开疆拓土的历史功绩永不可磨灭，“博望侯”就衍化为英雄主义的象征，而与任侠风气相联系在一起了。“寻源博望侯，结客远相求”，游侠儿亦如博望侯怀抱赴边立功之志。云气散漫风萧索，紫塞雁门草木凋，艰苦的边关生活并没有消损少年游侠奋勇杀敌、报效国家的豪情壮志；而是黄沙穿金甲，马革裹尸还，甘愿赴汤蹈火以报知己之恩遇。这样就自然引出了“轻生殉知己，非是为身谋”的感慨来，这既照应了开头的“遗声利”，也使全篇的中心思想得到统一。
综观全诗，首联已概括全篇之主旨，“侠”之精神在“奇”，此“奇”非他“奇”，而是奇在其轻身重义上，奇在其士为知己者死上，奇在其“遗声利”“非是为身谋”上，正与尾联相应。中篇尽叙侠客之态，承首联之“奇”而启尾联之“殉知己”“一言重”“垂一顾”“千里至”“远相求”，皆应照生情，写得气脉流转、神情摇曳，悲壮英豪之中有清新雅致之音，与虞氏的一贯风格有其相通之处。

永兴县文懿子虞世南，字伯施，汉族，余姚（慈溪市观海卫镇鸣鹤场）人。初唐著名书法家、文学家，政治家。隋炀帝时官起居舍人，唐时历任秘书监、弘文馆学士等。唐太宗称他德行、忠直、博学、文词、书翰为五绝（“世南一人，有出世之才，遂兼五绝。一曰忠谠，二曰友悌，三曰博文，四曰词藻，五曰书翰。”原有诗文集30卷，但早已散失不全。民国时期，张寿镛辑成 《虞秘监集》 4卷，收入 《四明丛书》。
