我有万古不坏的仙宅，那就是嵩山之阳的玉女峰。
那挂在东溪松间的一片明月，一直留在我的心中。
杨先生您又要去那里采集仙草，去攫食紫花的昌蒲保持青春的面容。
年底时我将到嵩山之阳拜访您，您可能正在青天上乘着白龙来相迎。
注释
杨山人：姓杨的隐士。其生平事迹不详，李白有《驾去温泉后赠杨山人》诗，高适集中也有《送杨山人归嵩阳》诗，这里的杨山人当同为一人。嵩山：五岳之一，位于今河南省登封市西北。
嵩阳：嵩山之南。玉女峰：嵩山支脉太皇山二十四峰之一，因峰北有石如女，故名。
尔：你，指杨山人。掇（duō）：拾取。
菖（chāng）蒲（pú）：多年生水生草本，有香气，根可入药，初夏开黄花，果实红色。相传嵩山石上菖蒲，一寸九节，服了可长生不老。晋代葛洪《抱朴子·仙药》载：“韩终服菖蒲十三年，身生毛，日视书万言，皆诵之，冬袒不寒。又菖蒲须生石上，一寸九节以上，紫花者尤善焉。”茸：草初生貌。这里形容蒲花。
骑白龙：飞升成仙之意。用东汉瞿武故事。据《广博物志》载：东汉瞿武七岁便专服黄精紫芝，入峨眉山修道，由天竺真人授以仙诀，乘白龙成仙。

送杨山人归嵩山创作背景
这首诗写作于天宝（唐玄宗年号，742～756）初年，当时李白在长安。杨山人大约是李白早年“访道”嵩山时结识的朋友。在朱紫盈门的境遇里，与之言行契合的只有这位杨山人，可见两人情谊之深。如今这位志同道合者就要离去，诗人抚今忆昔，感慨倍增，因作此诗以赠。

送杨山人归嵩山鉴赏
这是一首送别诗，但从头至尾不写离愁别恨，而主要是描写自然景物和生活场景。写嵩山景色的部分，清幽高远；写杨山人归山后的生活，恬静安适。通篇紧扣诗题，通过色彩鲜明的画面，把送别之意、惜别之情表达出来。借用前人的话说，就是用景语代替情语。
全诗可分三个层次。前四句为第一层，写嵩山的景色，抒发了诗人对嵩山以及对昔日遁迹山林、寻仙访道生活的眷念之情。首联写峰峦，起句豪迈。一个“我”字颇有“万物皆备于我”的气概。李白当年访道嵩山，未必就栖身于玉女峰，这里选用“玉女”的峰名，是为了与上句的“万古宅”相对应。“万古宅”就暗含仙人居所的意思，使神异的气氛更加浓厚，也更加令人向往。三、四句展示的境界更加美丽神奇。月不可留，而要“长留”，并且使它处在最恰当、最美好的位置上。晶莹的月亮悬挂在苍翠挺拔的松树之上，下面是长流不断的溪水。它不只生动地显现了嵩山秀丽的景色，而且寄托着隐居者高洁的情怀。
五、六句为第二层，写杨山人归山后的活动。诗人想象杨山人归去后将采摘仙草，而嵩山玉女峰一带就散布着开满紫花的菖蒲。这种菖蒲“一寸九节，服之长生”（《神仙传》），正可满足他求仙的欲望。这联上句写人，下句写山。人之于山，犹鱼之于水，显然有“得其所哉”的寓意。“尔”字又和前面的“我”字呼应，渲染出浓郁的别离气氛。
末二句为第三层，诗人向好友表示“岁晚或相访”要和他一起去过求仙访道、啸傲山林的生活。结句把这种思想情绪化为具体的形象：仿佛在湛蓝的天空中，一条白龙在向前蜿蜒游动，龙身上骑坐着风度潇洒的诗人，他那仙风道骨与“青天”“白龙”相表里，构成了美丽和谐的意境。这种骑龙相访的神奇画面，显得豪放飘逸。
此诗所写的“景”，既为外在的景物，也为内在的感情，是“情与景偕，思与境共”的统一体。例如描绘嵩山秀丽的景色，抒发了诗人对它的爱慕之情，就寓有怀念杨山人和向往栖隐生活的思想感情在内。三者迭合在一起，惜别的情意，就显得十分浓烈。惜别而不感伤，一往情深，而又表现得超奇旷达，这样的送别诗是非常罕见的。它构思新奇，如镜花水月，亦真亦幻，不受通常的时空观念的束缚，不为常人的思想感情所左右，更不因袭模仿，落入前人的窠臼，表现了诗作者惊人的创造力。
李白写诗还常常运用夸张的艺术手腕使描绘的对象理想化、神奇化，以引起读者想象与思慕的情趣。这在此诗中有典型的表现。例如，“宅”为常见事物，并无新奇之处，可是在前面加上“万古”二字，就变得神奇、空灵而耐人寻味了。又如一轮明月挂在溪边的松树上，景物固然迷人，但若仅仅如此，诗味并不很多。诗人别出心裁，在前面冠以“长留”二字，突出意志的力量，这样人和物都发生了“超凡入圣”的变化，涂上一层神奇瑰丽的色彩，从而引人遐想，逗人情思。唐人张碧曾用“天与俱高，青且无际”（《唐诗纪事》）评价李白的诗，这八个字形象地表现了李白诗歌神奇超迈而又质朴自然的特色，是很恰当的评判。

李白（701年－762年），字太白，号青莲居士，唐朝浪漫主义诗人，被后人誉为“诗仙”。祖籍陇西成纪(待考)，出生于西域碎叶城，4岁再随父迁至剑南道绵州。李白存世诗文千余篇，有《李太白集》传世。762年病逝，享年61岁。其墓在今安徽当涂，四川江油、湖北安陆有纪念馆。
