译文
逍遥公的后事子孙中贤者很多，我为送别韦氏而停船很珍惜离别之筵。
如蒙相念，能寄简短书信我已满足；至于我的诗篇，则不劳你传于世人。
时局危难战乱不休，而我已经白发苍苍剩下的日子已经不多了。
瞻望古人，皆为离别而洒泪，顾念别后，你我备怀凄情入于风烟之中。
注释
公安：湖北公安县。韦匡赞，排行第二，生平不详。少府，县尉。
逍遥公：韦二少府的祖先是北周时韦复和唐中宗时韦嗣立，均封为逍遥公。
尔：你，指韦匡赞，事迹不详。惜：哀伤，痛惜。
念我：思念我。书：写。
将诗：带去的诗。不必万人传：不必在众人中传吟。
时危：时局艰危。兵甲：兵器衣甲的总称，引申为战争。
日短：比喻年迈衰老，剩下的日子不长了。 ‘
风烟：指战乱。

公安送韦二少府匡赞创作背景
此诗是代宗大历三年（768）暮秋杜甫漂泊湖北公安县时所作。这年八月，吐蕃十万攻灵武、邠州，京师戒严，所以诗中有时危兵革的话。杜甫在公安受尽冷落，非常孤独，没有谁到他这条破船上来，韦匡赞却特来看望并向他辞行。杜甫深受感动，作诗以赠别。

公安送韦二少府匡赞鉴赏
这首诗首联赞扬韦匡赞作为逍遥公的后人贤良有德，并再三珍惜二人友情以此筵别后难再相见为憾。颔联料想和嘱托别后情状，杜甫说此番别后若蒙韦二想念，能写封数字短札相寄，杜甫便感激不尽，倒是自己的诗作，请韦二不要向万人传播。颈联又回到二人所处的时代环境里，这年八月，吐蕃十万兵马侵扰，兵戈又起，时局危难；眼前韦二尚可有所作为，自己却白发客居，不知又要在短暂来日飘流向哪里。尾联叹自己命运感别离苦痛，觉得世间万物万事古往今来皆为悲剧，此一别更是涕泪断肠了。
这首诗虽是写个人的离愁别苦，但诗人却把这种离愁别苦深深植根于当时的社会现实，揭示了战乱的紧张局势，讽刺了统治阶级的人才政策，抒发了主客双方不能见用于世的沉痛情怀。全诗由个人的离别写到国家的时局，由个人的身世揭出政治的腐败，“离而复合，无限情遥”，声泪俱下，感慨涕零，有极强的艺术感染力。

杜甫（712－770），字子美，自号少陵野老，世称“杜工部”、“杜少陵”等，汉族，河南府巩县（今河南省巩义市）人，唐代伟大的现实主义诗人，杜甫被世人尊为“诗圣”，其诗被称为“诗史”。杜甫与李白合称“李杜”，为了跟另外两位诗人李商隐与杜牧即“小李杜”区别开来，杜甫与李白又合称“大李杜”。他忧国忧民，人格高尚，他的约1400余首诗被保留了下来，诗艺精湛，在中国古典诗歌中备受推崇，影响深远。759-766年间曾居成都，后世有杜甫草堂纪念。
