滔滔武溪一何深，鸟飞不渡，兽不能临。嗟哉武溪何毒淫。
飞湍瀑流泻云岑，砰激百两雷车音。吾闻神汉之初始开斸，史君姓周其各煜。
至今庙在乐昌西，苔藓残碑仅填读。武水之源自何出，郴州武县鸬鹚石。
南入桂阳三百里，峻濑洪涛互淙射。其谁写此入新声，一曲马援门人笛。
南方耆旧传此水，乐昌之泷兹乃是。退之昔日泛潮阳，曾到泷头问泷吏。
我今以选来番禺，事与昌黎殊不类。未尝神色辄惝慌，何至形容遽憔悴。
但怜岁晚毛鬓侵，故园一别至于今。溪光罨画清且浅，朱藤覆水成春阴。
何为在此婴朝簪，翩然走马驰骎骎。南踰瘴岭穷崎崟，梅花初开雪成林。
韶石仿佛闻舜琴，曹源一滴清人心。远民安堵年谷稔，百蛮航海来献琛。
嗟余才薄力不任，报君夙夜输诚忱。布宣条教勤官箴，有佳山水亦出寻。
乐平吾乐何有极，不信弦歌武溪深。

（1031—1104）常州宜兴人，字颖叔。蒋堂从子。仁宗嘉祐二年进士。复举贤良方正，擢监察御史。神宗立，转殿中侍御史。因诬劾欧阳修，贬监道州酒税。熙宁中行新法，为福建转运判官，迁淮东转运副使，募流民修水利。累擢江淮荆浙发运副使，长于理财，治漕运，以干练称，升发运使。哲宗时历知潭州、广州、开封府，进龙图阁直学士。元符末，坐事责守汝州。徽宗立，除知枢密院事。崇宁初出知杭州，因议弃河、湟事夺职。卒谥文穆。有《三经集》等。
