发源本愿盈科进，筑防岂期因坎止。

停波寂寞虽无语，物情得失应如此。
淮阴野外乞余食，留侯圯下收堕履。
当年或失龙准翁，冷落功名千古耻。
我欲鸠工聚长锸，齐平决堤如决纸。
直看惊湍万里潮，免嗟穷涸千山底。

宋京兆府长安人，字履中，世称潏水先生。神宗元丰二年进士。尝师张载。喜言兵事，于书无所不读，工诗文。累官中大夫、集贤殿修撰。徽宗崇宁中，为熙河转运使，以议边事不合罢。金兵入关中，起知秦州，空城无兵，遂遇害。有《潏水集》。
