徐大方，宁冲道，瓯宁（今福建建瓯）人。仁宗嘉佑中，权知永州。神宗熙宁三年（一○七○），以国子博士通判汀州（清光绪《长汀县志》卷二九）。十年，提举监修使臣（《续资治通鉴长编》卷二八四）。元丰元年（一○七八），由开封府判官降为推官（同上书卷二九三）。今录诗二首。
