张公庠，字元善。仁宗皇祐元年（一○四九）进士（《两宋名小集》卷三二三《张泗州集》序）。嘉祐八年（一○六三）为秘书省著作佐郎（《临川先生文集》卷五一《奏举人张公庠著作佐郎制》）。哲宗元符元年（一○九八）知晋州（《续资治通鉴长编》卷五○二）。三年，徙知苏州（明正德《姑苏志》卷三）。又知邛州（《能改斋漫录》卷一六）。晚年提举南京鸿庆宫。有《张公庠宫词》一卷。 张公庠诗，据汲古阁影抄宋书棚本《张公庠宫词》、《四库全书》本《张泗州集》以及《能改斋谩录》所录，合编为一卷。
