谢铎（1435年～1510年），明朝时太平县桃溪（今温岭市大溪镇）人，明藏书家、文学家。字鸣治，号方石，祖籍黄岩。天顺八年（1464年）进士，入翰林院为庶吉士，次年授编修。成化三年（1467），谢铎参加编修《英宗实录》，后升侍讲。弘治三年（1490）提升为南京国子祭酒。次年辞官回乡，家居十年，先后有数十人举荐。明孝宗命吏部遣人员至其家，起用为礼部右侍郎兼国子祭酒。谢铎72岁告老还乡。谢铎博通经史，文学造诣极深。死后赠“礼部尚书”，谥文肃。
