（1484—1544）浙江鄞县人，字常甫，号甬川，别号兀涯。弘治十八年进士。授检讨，出为湖广提学副使。嘉靖间为吏部侍郎，人不可以干私。官至南京兵部尚书，参赞机务。学宗程朱，躬修力践。与王守仁友善，论学则不合。卒谥文定。有《学庸传》、《五经说》、《兀涯汉书议》、《环碧堂集》、《纾玉楼集》及《四友亭集》。
