金节，字持甫。南海人。明穆宗隆庆四年（一五七〇）解元。明神宗万历五年（一五七七）进士。授官中秘。秩满，改南京户部员外郎。晋郎中。出为临安知府，有平寇功。累官至广西参政。罢政还，卒于家。有《吴粤草》、《缶鸣集》。清道光《广东通志》卷二八一有传。
