乃是人文发祯祥，玉局仙子喜欲狂。更祝人文寿而康，黼黻鸿猷焕天章，山茶之瑞垂无疆。

元明间浙江金华人，字平仲，友龙子。博涉群籍，文词蔚赡有法，以善古文闻名于时。元末贡于乡，洪武间入礼贤馆，为国子学录，迁学正，擢翰林编修。十年，宋濂荐以自代，以疾力辞。二十一年聘主会试，寻为处州教授。以表笺忤旨下狱死。二子救父并被刑，士论惜之。有《苏平仲集》存世。
