陈衡恪（1876.3.12—1923.9.17），又名陈师曾，号朽道人、槐堂，江西义宁人（今江西省修水县），著名美术家、艺术教育家。陈师曾出身书生门第，祖父是湖南巡抚陈宝箴，父亲是著名诗人陈三立。1902年东渡日本留学，1909年回国，任江西教育司长。从1911年2月至1913年4月，他受南通张謇之邀，至通州师范学校任教，专授博物课程。1913年又赴长沙第一师范任课，后至北京任编审员之职。先后兼任女子高等师范学校、北京高等师范学校、北京美术专门学校教授。1923年9月为奔母丧回南京，不幸染病逝世，终年仅47岁。
