释法秀（一○二七～一○九○），号圆通，时人称秀铁面，俗姓辛，秦州陇城（今甘肃天水）人。为青原下十一世，天衣怀禅师法嗣。神宗元丰七年（一○八四），冀国大长公主请秀住法云寺（《东坡全集》卷九六《法云寺钟铭》）。哲宗元祐五年卒，年六十四。《禅林僧宝传》卷二六、《五灯会元》卷一六有传。今录诗六首。
