沉疾已在躬，嗜书犹不废。
每闻有奇籍，多方必图致。
手录畏辛勤，数纸还投弃。
贸人供所好，恒辍衣食费。
往来绕案行，点画劳指视。
成编亦艰难，把玩自珍贵。
家人怪何用，推却从散离。
亦蒙朋友笑，既宦安用是。
自知身有病，不作长久计。
偏好固莫捐，聊尔从吾意。
有子虽二人，未知谁可遗。
我但要披阅，岂复思后世。
逢愚聚亦散，贤必能添置。
区区虑远心，何其错为地。

（1458—1546）明苏州府吴县人，字君谦。成化二十年进士。授礼部主事。好读书，每得意则手舞足蹈，不能自禁，人称“颠主事”。以多病，致仕居支硎山下，课读经史。性狷介，胸襟狭隘，好持人短长。武宗南巡至南京，召赋《打虎曲》称旨，令改武人装，随从左右，常使为乐府、小令，以俳优待之。循吉以为耻而辞归。晚年落寞，更坚癖自好。有《松筹堂集》及杂著多种。
