中山山多稻田寡，耕不见牛时见马。曳犁负轭当町畦，编草络头泥没髁。
喷沫徒怜气凋丧，局蹐安知材尽下。王良伯乐无时无，不待悲鸣泪先洒。
侧闻洪武开国时，曾来此地求騧骊。连樯累舶动千匹，购买不惜倾高赀。
陟险冲波有底急，每翻旧史常怀疑。维时布衣起江左，涣号止及东南陲。
壮士健儿恣腾踔，步卒敢向中原窥。圉人太仆但充位，登床厌谷皆虚词。
谁欤忽建凿空计，外厩祗藉长风吹。飘飖远致列云锦，骑出奚啻熊与罴。
永辞绝域骋皇路，寸长一技皆得施。不走沙场絷畎亩，吁嗟尔马生何迟。
今制三年两入贡，使者执鞭大夫控。天子垂裳顾曰嘻，此物何烦跨海送。
异域从教宝骕骦，天家绝不求麟凤。终老丘园何足惜，竟辱泥涂亦堪痛。
吁嗟尔马无自伤，不逢汤武逢虞唐。纵有龙媒四十万，中山只作华山阳。

（1626—1689）江南休宁人，居扬州，字舟次，号悔斋。康熙十八年举博学鸿儒，授检讨。曾充册封琉球正使。旋为河南府知府，官至福建布政使。早负诗名，与汪懋麟并称“二汪”。有《悔斋集》。
