亦知朴陋人所厌，习成天性终难变。丈夫有才常好新，贱妾薄命何嗟怨。
缲丝在车犹未除，亭午当炊谁下厨。但得新人亦似此，庶免高堂烦老姑。
到家无面见邻姬，独掩寒闺双泪垂。少时只恨青春促，今日方愁年老迟。

（1381—1453）江西吉水人，字恂如，号双崖。永乐二年进士。次年，预读书文渊阁之选。与修《永乐大典》，历刑部主事、员外郎。宣德五年，帝以天下财赋多不理，江南尤甚，思得才力重臣前往整理，以杨荣荐，迁工部右侍郎，巡抚江南，总督税粮。在任二十二年，常屏去驺从，巡行村落，问民疾苦。理欠赋，改税法，屡请减免江南重赋。与苏州知府况钟反复计算，将苏州一府赋自二百七十七万石减至七十二万余石。他府以次减。官至工部尚书，仍巡抚。有《双崖集》。卒谥文襄。
