对西风、鬓摇烟碧，参差前事流水。紫丝罗带鸳鸯结，的的镜盟钗誓。浑不记、漫手织回文，几度欲心碎。安花著蒂。奈雨覆云翻，情宽分窄，石上玉簪脆。
译文：西风软拂着云雾般的发鬟，思量往昔的情事，如同流水一去不还。当初我们曾用紫罗丝带打成鸳鸯结，那些海誓山盟还清清楚楚地心间。但他完全不记得这些温情缱绻，我枉自织成璇玑回文图，也无法使他心还意转。不知有多少次，我的心仿佛碎了一般。在花蒂安上枯萎的花朵，真是枉然。怎耐雨覆云翻，我对他感情太深而缘分太浅，宛如在石上磨玉簪，最容易折断。
注释：摸鱼儿：词牌名。原为唐代教坊曲名，后用为词牌。本名《摸鱼子》。双调，一百十六字，押仄声韵。鬓摇烟碧：形容鬓发如碧空烟霭般蓬松散乱。鬓，鬓发。参差：纷纭杂乱。前事：过去的事情。罗带：丝织的衣带。鸳鸯结：即同心结，古代用罗带制成菱形连环回文结，表示恩爱。的的：明白，清清楚楚。镜盟：用乐昌公主事。钗誓：陈鸿《长恨歌传》载，唐玄宗与杨贵妃定情之夕，授金钗钿盒为信物，愿世世恩爱不移。在此表示对爱情的忠贞。浑：全漫：徒然回文：十六国时窦滔妻苏慧织锦成文以寄相思。安花著蒂：花朵落地，再将它给拾起置放在花蒂上。比喻爱情已经破裂，难以恢复。雨覆云翻：比喻变化无常。分窄：缘分太薄。分，情分。石上玉簪脆：喻男子负心背盟，将女子遗弃。
朱楼外，愁压空云欲坠。月痕犹照无寐。阴睛也只随天意，枉了玉消香碎。君且醉。君不见、长门青草春风泪。一时左计。悔不早荆钗，暮天修竹，头白倚寒翠。
译文：红色的楼阁之外，愁压空去沉沉昏暗，月光淡淡，偏照我深夜无眠。无论是阴晴聚散，只能随顺上天的安排和意愿。枉自为相思而憔悴消瘦，却又是为了哪般？姑且在醉酒中暂把愁遣，你难道没有看见，长门宫中青草蔓延，春风中陈皇后泣涕涟涟？一时糊涂而贻误半生，后悔不如早戴荆钗把夫君陪伴。如今只能在暮色中独倚修竹，直到满头白发的晚年。
注释：朱楼：指富丽华美的楼阁。月痕:：月影；月光。无寐：不睡；不能入睡。枉了玉消香碎：指女子不必殉情而死。枉，何必。玉消香碎，比喻女子死亡。长门：长门宫，陈皇后失宠后，汉武帝将她幽居与此宫。明妃，即王昭君。左计：打错了主意。荆钗：荆枝制作的髻钗，古代贫家妇女常用之。指女子因贫寒而装束简陋。暮天：傍晚的天空。修竹：高高的竹子。寒翠：指常绿树木在寒天的翠色。
