宋代：王观
黄金殿里，烛影双龙戏。劝得官家真个醉，进酒犹呼万岁。
译文：金銮殿上灯光如昼，在影影绰绰的灯影之中，皇帝正在与一位嫔妃相戏。皇帝被劝酒至醉态已显，进酒的人口中还在高喊着“万岁，万岁，万万岁”。
注释：清平乐：词牌名，此调正体双调八句四十六字，上片四仄韵，下片三平韵。黄金殿：指华丽的宫殿，这里指后宫宫殿。官家：封建时代对皇帝的一种称呼。
折旋舞彻《伊州》。君恩与整搔头。一夜御前宣住，六宫多少人愁。
译文：这位嫔妃又跳起了《伊州》旋舞，皇帝看得心花怒放，亲自为她重整头上斜斜欲坠的玉簪。皇帝被这位嫔妃哄得高兴了，宣其前往侍寝，而今夜此妃得幸侍君，六宫之中将有多少嫔妃会因失宠而怆然泪下。
注释：《伊州》：乐曲名，载唐崔令钦所著《教坊记》“大曲名”表中。搔头：首饰，即簪的别名。御：古代对帝王所作所为及其所用物的敬称，如御旨、御驾等。宣住：即宣诏留宿的意思。六宫：本指古代皇后的寝宫，也指皇后，后来泛指皇后妃嫔或其住处。

王观(1035--1100)，字通叟，生于如皋(今江苏如皋)，北宋著名词人。 王安石为开封府试官时，他得中科举及第。宋仁宗嘉佑二年(1057年)，考中进士。 其后，历任大理寺丞、江都知县等职，在任时作《扬州赋》，宋神宗阅后大喜，大加褒赏；又撰《扬州芍药谱》一卷，遂被重用为翰林学士净土。
