廷尉八闽秀，意气淩秋旻。初年入棘寺，抗疏论辅臣。
缙绅皆动色，名誉夷山尊。中遭长官怒，蠖屈道弥伸。
磨泥出浊水，媚渊光照人。一作岭表士，贰平天下冤。
尚稽井田制，沟洫入毫分。岂不有司存，润泽在相君。
三王不同礼，三事古所敦。此去觐明主，报政因奏言。
民事为国本，笃恭天下平。食足礼义兴，自馀无足论。
吾衰志明农，圣人起周殷。复古如有作，愿为受一廛。

（1466—1560）广东增城人，字元明，号甘泉。少师事陈献章。弘治十八年进士，授编修。历南京国子监祭酒，南京吏、礼，兵三部尚书。在翰林院时与王守仁同时讲学，主张“随处体认天理”，“知行并进”，反对“知先行后”，与阳明之说有所不同。后筑西樵讲舍讲学，学者称甘泉先生。卒谥文简。著有《心性图说》、《格物通》、《甘泉集》等。
