辛亥仲春将徂兮，有客踵门曰风日流丽，
邀余共泛西湖之舽。舽南去而忽西兮，
昨之折槛今复饰以成杠。背苏堤万丝之绿阴兮，
望一簇孤山之青橦。层峰叠嶂巉绝露天巧，
珠英琪树发越地之灵，一声何处兮钟撞。
篙师告余曰，此寿星古刹，
上有奇观，开宇宙于八窗。
舍舟策杖，步步巍峨，
谢屐殊劳双。回廊曲转忽轩豁，
檐飞栋複，青绿交辉。
心开目骇，而揖西子之湖，
子胥之江。观者杂遝，
倏来，余独凭栏，
境与心会，便欲驭风跨蜿虹。
烟云万态，客拟状而运思，
羿今老退，且逊锐逄。
庄严世界，合爪赞叹，
要使天下名山夸咏者，睹此奇伟而心降。
风寒下山吹欲倒，连呼春酒亟开缸。
箫鼓画船徒自纷耳目，何如美成清绝按新腔。
诗成肯对俗子哦，驰介城南寄老庞。

陈起，字辅圣，沅江（今属湖南）人。仁宗景祐元年（一○三四）进士。历知宁乡、秭归、湘乡、萍乡等县（清嘉庆《沅江县志》卷二五）。嘉祐间为永州通判（清道光《永州府志》卷一八）。
